First of all, I love Costco. Ive gone to several around the Bay Area. But, I had a horrible experience yesterday with their cafeteria (ended up waiting 50 minutes for my order). We ordered two pizzas and were told it would be 15 minutes. We come back right after 15 minutes. One of the employees asked to help me with my order. She could not figure out what happened with my order. After about 5 minutes of trying to figure it out she comes back to me and says my pizzas will be right out. I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes or so, when another employee asked to help with my order. She could not figure it out so she basically told me my pizza would be out soon. I waited some more. Then finally another employee asked me and he was able to figure out my order had gotten lost and he then made sure I was the next one to get my order. This Costcos cafeteria is a mess. The employees do not check receipts to make sure people are picking up the correct pizza orders. I left so upset. Not upset because they lost my order, I left upset because of the first two employees could not figure out what happened so they just told me to wait and they went about helping other costumers while I waited 50 minutes. They have to make a more efficient and effective process to giving people their orders and making sure costumers are not skipped.

Not meant for public distribution! Google has complicated IT steps way beyond over-engineered that less competent users like myself find it almost impossible to understand and/or navigate or even use it for simple things like reserving this article on my desktop to read slowly later on. Please..... you IT geniuses, difficult but your ingenious apps are useless unless the end user can understand or even know how to use it! eg: Was told less than 20% of all smart phone or tablet or even laptop uses understand or know how make use of less than 20% of all the apps and fancy e-paraphanaria they pay for. Good for marketing and sales pitches in a very competative e-gagets world, humongous waste of IT talents, users time, a massive environmental polution from discarded e-equipment, vindictively designed to become prematurely obsolete to support continuos increasing growing sales and the learning / teaching of IT. Use your God given gifts to produce functionally useful quality things! Use your excess neurons to develop and improve social and psychologically human well being "Apps". I will now let someone else continue this plea for / to slow down in this IT avalanche. God help us all.

Well, this is Costco, so it comes with the usual perks -- inexpensive but good quality food, produce, beverages etc. So I will limit my review of this particular location. Pros: - Great location -- just off Hwy 92 and in the center of Foster City. - Huge parking lot. - Has a tire center. Cons: - Parking lot gets pretty full even on semi-busy days, so be prepared to spend 5-7 mins looking for a decent parking spot on a busy day (e.g. evenings or the weekend). - On busy days it gets really congested inside. Costcos carts are huge and I often have to jostle inside, especially near the sample stations where people carelessly leave their cart in search of the said samples. - They just closed some of the services at the photo center. Now you can only take prints but cant get pictures taken (e.g. for passport or visa). - The entrance of the parking lot is really badly designed. As you turn into the entrance, just 50 yards ahead you find shoppers crossing with their carts. On busy days it takes up to a couple of minutes to find a break and make it past the crossing.

WARNING: Reduced selection! This is a neglected warehouse among Costco locations in the bay. No gluten-free breads, strange selection of electronics, fewer food items than other locations, but a friendly group of employees. The three stars are all for them (and for the food court), because this Costco just makes me sad to shop at. The employees seem acutely aware of their massively lacking stock and constant rotation, but this doesnt make up for whatever corporate HQ seems to be putting this poor location through. Ill update this if anything changes, but for now, youre better off calling ahead if you need specific items, or just shopping elsewhere until this Costco grows up.

Whats not to like about this Costco??? (Ok. I hate the parking lot situation, perhaps having someone direct cars and people would actually really speed things up). The selection of products that they offer at this location is great, the lines are usually not that bad, the customer service is top notch, the deals are killer and you can get free food samples much of the time. Its a rarity now to be able to return things when you arent satisfied without a huge hassle, Costco makes it real easy.

Tremendous variety and stock counter balanced by the fact that everybody else knows it too. Describes any Costco, but this one in particular is quite popular despite the lack of a Costco gas station at this location. Fresh seafood counter features house made poke, cooked and raw options, and cycles seasonal things in regularly. Timely local specials have included things like Warriors or Giants branded gear when the sports are in season, in addition to holiday themed items.

This Costco has the worst parking of any Ive seen, possibly the worst there is. One combined entrance and exit, located right where the most pedestrians are, results in a hellish tangle of traffic. I doubt this is Costcos fault, more likely neighborhood restrictions, but that doesnt change the fact that getting into and out of this place is a nightmare. If you have a few extra minutes, there are two other Costcos within a couple miles of this place, try them.

Best place to stock up and buy in bulk. They also have a screamin deal everyday on ready to go rotisserie chickens. Its important to note too that if youre not a Costco member you can still buy alcohol from them if you let the door minder know thats what you are there for. The only knock I have is that the parking lot is always a nightmare. Ive found its easiest (and safest) to just park in the back nearer to Visa and hike in and out.

Called to order two front tires to have installed along with rear tires I already ordered. They wont order unless you go to the store in person again. Considering I already ordered 2 rear tires, and paid for them and they owe me a $200 credit on them. Now I have to wait till the weekend, then wait another week to have them installed, some of us work during the week. Terrible Customer Service.

Cramped Costco. During the weekends, this place is a zoo inside and the parking lot is full. Takes a couple of rounds to find a empty space. The checkout lines are long and you do have to wait. In terms of selection and variety this place has it. Today, they had magnums of Italian wine and French Champagne in their well stocked wine and spirits area.
