I gave it 4 stars because I went inside knowing what I wanted, got it, went to the counter to buy it and the price was off by a few bucks. The guy working at the counter (forgot his name but he is cool and wore a black shirt) fixed it for me after I showed him and I was out of there after we spoke about the weather. Now about the store, the whole place is cluttered and I didnt see any employees on the floor. (I wasnt looking for one, so take that part of my review with a grain of salt.) I knew what I wanted though and where to find it so I didnt need help, but I can see how that could be a problem. All in all, I would recommend this place.

This is a small michaels but i can always get and find what Im looking for. If i cant find something i can always find an employee to help me. Which is more than i can say about the Michaels in san mateo (by the mall). This store also seems to have a bigger sicker section. The one in san mateo is dinky compared to this michaels sticker section. I also havent had to wait in a long line, knock on wood.

I went there to buy mat board. I am cutting it myself for the first time (which is a great way to save money, but NOT time, especially when you screw up 5 times) and the man who has been helping me (Ray) is AMAZING! He is SO nice and even gave me a piece to practice on. He has been so helpful. I will definitely go back there to get my mats and any other framing supplies in the future!

I was in Michaels last week and needed two pictures framed. The person at the custom framing counter that helped me (Mike) was very knowledgeable and friendly and took his time measuring my custom mat. When I picked up my frames, the second person to help me was just as wonderful (Chris) and even more knowledgeable. I will refer all my friends and family to the Michaels on Woodside Road.

Solid Michaels store with a large variety of items. You can usually find what you need. Occasionally, they may get out of stock of an item but its usually not an issue. This location has great sales and you can almost always get some sort of discount on your items.

I like that this store is clean and streamlined. I do wish they had a better selection of acrylic paints. Also strangely enough their paint prices are more than my local independent store. Youd think a chain store would be competitive with their prices.

Great place to find all kinds of crafts and art supplies. Its great they have online coupons that you can load up on your phone and Save on your days purchase. Friendly staff that is knowledgeable and willing to help.

Even though it was 1pm, the aisles and staff looked over run. I couldnt find anything I was looking for and other patrons had to help locate things for each other since the staff was busy.

They have a good selection of arts and crafts and wedding stuff. Finding staff to ask a question is usually a challenge and there are almost always a lot of people there.

Decent art supply store. Quality isnt that great, and theres a lot of cheap, kitschy stuff, but chances are youll find what you need.
