My wife a Korean lady frequently visits this El Super market near Sierra & Foothill (Fontana) for groceries. She carries her wallet and so on in a back packet for the past 20 years. Today she entered this Spanish store and the guard was very mean and picked only her out of incoming customers and wanted her to allow them to inspect her pack and then store it up front with her money, etc in it. Then he wanted to follow her around the store- whats up with this. She told him that she has a heart problem and he said I dont care it is your personal issue. I never heard of this unprofessional treatment before. I am getting a lawyer to talk to them. I even called later to talk to there manager and he would not connect me to the manager. This is racial / unprofessional and offensive treatment by a small guard with an attitude. Something needs to be done. They say later that they have a sign about back packs and purses somewhere --- It was never over 5 years of shopping ever noted before. Please be careful with this kind of folks out there. Yes we will never shop there again. We need to think of Ralphs and so on from now on. Ps--The Fontana police came and agreed with her but said that the store did have a right to request the storage of a back pack / purse etc.

I always find what I am looking for at good prices. The sales are alluring on fruits and vegetables. I just dont like being stared at as if I dont belong there because I am not of Spanish descent. We are the same no matter what we look like. That has not stopped me though. I just leave them in their ignorance until they accept me because someone has to be the bigger person. Overall, I love the availability of stock, location, affordability and the cleanliness of the environment. The store gives me the traditional feeling of a food market. Thank you.

Talking about losing business. I called today for the pricing on a full sheet cake..Bakery totally indicated that they couldnt give me a price because there was three different prices. To that they hung up the telephone on me. Then I called back to speak to the front, I got to speak to Maria, who answered and said they did what, put me on hold then I was hung again. The point of the matter, great way of losing business and to say.. Mystery shoppers I did my job..

Love to shop here, very organized, fresh product, & helpful personnel.... Better than gardenas.....because anyone that shops there must like smelling "a pigs ass" or a goats which ever they prefer.... Upon entering one of these establishments...the smell in all of the Gardenas throughout the southern part of California are very foul smelling.....Thank you Superior for not being that way.

Good service and decent prices beats other stores in the area. Just needs to improve customer service a bit and some employees look miserable if they kept their employees happy then maybe they can adjust their attitude and make this place a 5 star store.

Produce is good price but when they have deals you really have to check if they give you the discount because even if you tell them they are wrong they argue back and say they are not. Cashiers have very bad attitude when you try to return something.

Love this store dont know what else to say but they have allot of the things i like to buy jut if you want the best choice of fruits and vegetables go on Wednesdays or thursdays as those are the days they get theyre shipments so its always busy

Good prices and selections. Store clean & everything looks neat. The only problem is the cashiers get backed up not too bad but theres room for improvement. Wish there was more Superior stores open though.

The shopping prices can be great sometimes, but you gotta look out for that red tag special and the price isnt always what they have listed...and as for the lines at check out they are ridiculously long!!!
