My family and I shop at Food4Less on McKinley St. in Corona, CA all the time. Sometimes we pay cash, sometimes we use EBT, and sometimes we use the WIC checks that we qualify for. Its not always a point of pride to pay via EBT or WIC but you do what you have to do in life to provide for your family. You cant help but feel judged by people because they wonder why youre getting "free food" and sometimes the cashier isnt very fast and using WIC holds up the line. It can be stressful and embarrassing when that happens. Last night we were doing some shopping and my wife was paying via WIC. As my two daughters and I were waiting to bag our groceries, a Food4Less employee walked by and called out to the cashier, Rosie. He yelled out in Spanish "Pinchi WIC, huh?!" If you cant figure it out, its the equivalent of yelling out "F***ing WIC, huh?!" He might as well have yelled out "Poor losers in your line, huh Rosie?" Even this very sweet cashier was appalled and horrified at this guys comment and behavior. She threw up her hands like "Did that just happen?" I waited for him to come back by and asked for the manager. He asked "WHY?" I told him I had a complaint about him because he was rude and I didnt appreciate what he said. He tried to play dumb and act like he didnt say anything. Then he said he was talking to himself when he clearly nodded at Rosie and/or my wife. Why would someone going by just happen to yell that specific comment out to themselves? They wouldnt, so he clearly thought I was not only poor but an idiot. He told me the store manager was gone and he was next in line. If Adrian IS a manager, I feel terribly sorry for Food4Less and The Kroger Family of Stores. This is a clear cut case of harassment and discrimination against people he thought were poorer and beneath him. My wife was trembling by the time this was done. Im beyond upset and Im not going to sit by and allow this to continue until I feel satisfied that The Kroger Family of Stores takes this seriously. In ensuring that Kroger understands the seriousness of this employee’s actions, I’m filing this complaint with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission because this is where the The Kroger Family of Stores corporate operations center is. I will also be notifying any and all California state organizations, public forums, as well as legal counsel to assist with my complaint, as I plan on pursuing this to the full extent of the law and our rights as human beings who should be treated with dignity and respect by a business we are patrons of.

FOOD If you dont need to impress anyone and you are feeding a large group of people on a budget then this is an acceptable choice. Huge selection of low priced alcoholic beverage, standard nasty selection of beers (dont expect belgian beers). SERVICE WHAT A JOKE. Dont expect anyone to tell you about making crepes, preparing hors d ouvres, selecting ingredients for your tapas, or ask them for their advice on wine. Or do it anyways for some laughs. You bag your own items. ATMOSPHERE Nasty. Dont wear jewelry here. Be careful in the parking lot.

the employees are very nice and really really helpful , I come hear all the time to buy groceries as theyre always fresh, I buy dog food here as well because its a whole lot cheaper than Walmart really great prices some of the beauty products and hygiene are a little bit over of my price range except when they have them on special but overall good store

I used to live down the street from here for 10 years. This was my favorite grocery store. I miss it. All the staff were very nice and helped me out when I could not find something. They remembered my name and were very friendly. The prices are the best around. I wish I had a food 4 less by my new house.
