I had my first not happy experience with the Folsom store and a new manager. Be careful to either bring your own bags or purchase them there. My bags were in the car, so I put things in my cart. My coffee was missing. When I went in to tell the manager (who was my checkout clerk) he said there is absolutely nothing he could do. It was on my receipt and I double checked my trunk with the other items and the inside of my car just in case. He walked out like he wanted to check my trunk but deferred to another customer. Awkward. I went back in to buy coffee as I needed it and his response was "Are you sure you want to buy this?" I live in Cameron Park and have gone to that store weekly. I was incredibly disappointed that he made no effort to help. I am guessing the guest behind me is set up with coffee for the week. I have been a manager in retail and I would have replaced the coffee, much like Wal-Mart, Safeway, and Raleys does. I hope the $10.00 was worth it to the manager. The owners of the store are much more knowledgeable so perhaps I will defer to them in the future. Who knows maybe this young manager will learn from these mistakes.

This store has a great staff, Whoever does the hiring at this location has a very keen eye for making a great team that works well together as well as has a great personality/attitude. They all make you feel at home and not like you are just another customer. They will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for and they will put anything down to do it. For instance if they are working on stocking a shelf they will set it aside and help you. I have seen different several times when shopping at different grocery stores. This store also has amazing prices, I love shopping there. My wife loves the selection of wine products they have.

Ive shopped Grocery Outlet Stores from Manteca to Eureka and found them to be very similar, neat, clean and inexpensive. For quality, you get what you pay for, which for me is very acceptable. They sometimes have unexpected changes in products, so its like shopping a a food thrift store. You can find an unexpected, pleasant surprise, as well as miss out on that surprise on your next shopping trip. So dont delay if you find something new that you like. It may be a temporary, over-supply product.

OK I admit it. I actually go here for entertainment. Finding good organic food at great prices is an adventure. Not talking Winco and Walmart here, but top quality brand name food. Inventory is always changing with new items which adds a surprise element. Friendly positive workers here - they seem to actually love their work. Love this place.

Excellent place to go shopping, as I always save at least 50% on my purchases. Selection varies based upon overflows. This is how they get their products and how they can sell them at a significantly reduced price. Shop here first, and if you dont find what you need, then hit up another grocer. I keep coming here every week!

expired. they say there allowed by the state of California to keep their items that are frozen expired 6 month things just dont taste the same here. if you contact the companies most of them do not even know they are doing business with the grocery outlets.

We live closer to the Jackson & Placerville Grocery Outlet off of 88 near The El Dorado National Forest, but choose to drive an extra 45 minutes to Folsom. The Store and the way the people treat you is simply that much better

Super good prices for those of us on a budget! You need to visit a few times a week to catch the great discounts/markdowns. Also great deals on wines, especially imports from Chile and Australia.

Who doesnt like to save $$$ I know I do. When Im in the area, I usually find a reason to stop by and always end up buying something. This store is great!!! Clean, well organized, friendly staff.

Like a treasure hunt with food and other items, you can even get a bed for the dog or clippers for the garden, if you see a great thing buy it now. Watch dates. Very good staff, clean place
