It takes a lot for me to give something five stars, but I have been coming here for a while, and initially I was concerned that it was going to be another Eureka pop-up place that was gone the next day, but its held its ground and for good reason. The staff is exceptionally friendly every time and every one. The food is great quality with great, fresh ingredients and a unique flavor that the city, and county, needed. And frankly, its cheaper than any other coffee places in the area for what you get. They also have the amazing Bhakti Chai, and I think theyre the only place that carries the stuff. I read complaint reviews about them now having fried food and it was certainly one of the stupidest things I had ever read. BL, do not feel in any way imposed on by these comments if theyre still around because youre food and service and atmosphere is amazing. Ive shown my little siblings the light of this cafe, and for one it takes a lot to change and he really likes the place and your hot chocolate. Keep it up, BL. You nailed it in every way, and I hope to see you here for a long while.

One of my favorite places to enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a friend. They offer great food and the staff are all warm and welcoming. Black Lightning Motorcycle Cafe is so much more than a place to eat and drink, it is a social site where people meet for meetings or to make contact with friends or family; they offer something for everyone. If your a motorcycle enthusiast, they have cool clothing for sale and other items. The have much motorcycle memorabilia on the walls. They hold the "Moto Envy Show" once a year where people who own bikes have an opportunity to entry their bike/s to receive awards for categories such as Vintage Bikes, Racer and Custom built bikes. This cafe has shown movies as well. If you are passing through Eureka, stop and check this place out; you want be disappointed.

Good sammich, had the Harley, would have liked the Triumph too I bet. Was there on the 10th of Sept 2016 for the annual, I believe the third, Moto Envy event. If your into Motorcycles or just want to experience a different "Lifestyle" definitely stop in and treat yourself. Lots of historical motorcycle related material, knick knacks and even vintage bikes on display, some for sale. They carry some parts and advertise they can order items at competitive prices.

Great atmosphere! Delicious food! Awesome staff! Good variety of products since Humboldt seems to only focus on Harley Davidson and dirt bikes when it comes to gear. If you are riding, make sure to stop by. If not, do it anyways! Has beer and coffee! Only one thing it doesnt have. Burgers. But has great sandwiches.

This place is fantastic. Im doing a trip of the entire US perimeter and can say easily that this was one of the coolest coffee stops Ive had in the 8,000 miles Ive gone so far. Whether you come here on bike or not - theres tons of cool memorbelia, great food, and a friendly staff (the owner is awesome.)

Where else can you check out a collection of cafe racers and motorcycle paraphernalia while deciding if you want beer or espresso? Their paninis are excellent with either. Their breakfast and lunch is as good as it gets in Eureka. Last time I was there they had a beautiful Ducati for sale.

Gotta be one of the most unique coffee shops Ive ever seen! Besides the obviously great food and espresso, this is my new favorite hangout while in the area. Quiet, comfy, relaxed enviro, yet the most masculine theme Ive ever seen. Super cool!

A total unique place in eureka. Come grab a delicious beer, great breakfast or lunch food and watch some motorcycle flicks. Theres also a great assortment of vintage and custom bikes to peruse while waiting for your food.

Great place! We own Kaleidoscope Coffee Company in Redding Ca, so we are always looking for cool independent shops when we travel. This place is it for us. Shop, soups, pastries, and coffee were killer!

Food was okay, but tables were dirty and the glass my beer came in had black spots inside. Parking was difficult to find.
