Id have to say that, first off, this store is nicely abundant with a wide selection of games and consoles, really nice to my sense of nostalgia. Being a lover for all things videogames, I loved walking into this store. However, the good things about this store end there. Before arriving, I looked this place up and wondered why the place was rated low. Ignoring the ratings, I decide to go anyway. Upon showing up, I was greeted with an abundant selection of games. Excited, I look at available games. Upon asking for a price on one of the games, i was given a $300 price. Considering the game and its "rarity", I shrug it off giving a slight benefit of doubt. I ask for another title, one of which in my experience would be priced cheaper, only to ge given a price of $110, more that twice the value, even if the game was a fan favorite. A few games later, I decide to leave shocked at the high-balled prices. It was quite unfortunate that I had to walk out disappointed, later comparing "metagame" prices of the games I asked for. I later realized the reasons for the low scores in this establishment at the dismay of thier experience with the stores overpricing and the owners responses to these reviews showing what seems to be a lack of care or consideration for "customer-based" opinions or insight only to give unreasonable justification for their practices. What was more than disturbing was when I asked about the condition of the $110 game, which was Brave Fencer Musashi (really good game), only to be told that they "dont price the games based on thier condition". THEN WHAT ARE THEY BASED ON? Overall, all of this wouldnt be too much of a big deal if it werent for the sudden, disturbing realization regarding thier large inventory vs the amout of customers that walk out with anything at all. Its very unfortunate the owners would have a wide selection of these wonderful games only to be hoarded through overpricing. This kind of thing is just discouraging to people who love videogames and have a passion for finding classics that cant be found in stores anymore.

Amazing stock! So many amazing memories and history in this one shop. I was floored! But the markup is so high its incredible... so sad because it is a unique store and I would love to go there often if the prices were more reasonable. To the owner: I understand you have a buisness to run and that you must mark things up in order to make any money. But if you lowered your prices to just a bit above the ebay average, you would get much better sales volume. People would be tempted enough to spend a bit more (say, for an item worth 30 dollars online, you charged 35) because as you stated, its awesome to see the items in person! They would buy your product 9 times out of 10. An extra 5 or 10 bucks usually wont have them walking, but an extra 20, 30 or even 40 DEFINITELY will. You may not make as much off each item, but over time a satisfied customer will go to their friends and family and recommend YOUR awesome shop. They will be impressed by your prices, your inventory, and theyll be so much more likely to make more purchases. Now, if the prices are much too high (lets be honest, they are marked up pretty good), then they will have the experience I did; they wanted so badly to support your buisness and were willing to pay a bit more than eBay since they could have it right then, but they just had to walk out because of the prices. These people will in turn tell their friends that your store is awesome... but to look elsewhere. You lose buisness! So, consider taking a much smaller cut per item, but earning more happy, consistent customers. You have an awesome shop!!! You will make more money! Stock sitting on the shelf, not selling because no one wants to waste extra hard earned cash, is zero revenue for you! Start getting that stuff out the door and tempting every person who walks in to buy from you again and again! Because as it is now, its an easy but disappointing decision to walk away and buy elsewhere.

Went there, and I was blown away by the copious amount of rare games and consoles. Shouldnt this stuff be selling like wildfire? I soon realized why these gems kept their place on the shelves - bad prices. Super Mario brothers 3 was a whopping $30! Now, people are talking about being able to buy it cheaper on eBay, but there are two nearby locations that have sold the same game for $20. Galaxy games offered me that price back when it sold games, and Phoenix games still sells the same game for that price. Why do business with this place if nearby locations sell the same game for less? My tip is to lower your prices, and clean up the store a bit too. It will attract a lot more attention.

They did have a very good inventory. Thats about it. Prices are crazy, more than conventions and other stores. I been all around the bay area looking at game stores. This one was expensive. They had multiple copies of alot of games rare/pricey and regular games. Looks like no one is buying them, like I said prices are ridiculous. I understand its a store and they have rent, and what not, but damn. Pretty sad, they are not going to last. Your better of checking a different game store, or ebay and amazon.

Great inventory with plenty of accessories and games! It comes at a high problem: Ridiculous prices. 44 dollars originally for Mario Party. Tax raised it to 54 dollars. 90 bucks for a super scope when you can buy one online for 30. Was greeted by two employees who dont know a thing regarding prices. Also was met by a screaming child behind the counter. Due to this experience, it was quite awkward, and I will not return. It pains me to leave on a sour note, their stock is great.

Games are overpriced and if you are selling games they will you close to nothing. To top it all off if smelled like feet and indian food. Two stars because owner was nice
