Ive been to this Wal-Mart a few times and every time I go, I feel disgusted. This Wal-Mart is filthy! Everything is scattered all over the floors, there are abandoned carts in the middle of the walk way, carts scattered ALL over the parking lot, its horrible! And the customer service, is worse. Ive asked for a help a few times and the service is horrible. They dont get a good answer of where the product is, or ask someone if they can walk you over to the product and help you and give you some information on it. And if they didnt hear you, they respond with What?! or HUH?!. I find that disrespectful and rude. I was at the Duarte Wal-Mart just recently to pick up a fan and a customer who was behind me asked the clerk if she still had the light he had waiting for him, he forgotten his wallet, rudely blurted out "huh?!". When she understood, she showed the customer the light and threw it back down. Finished helping the customer in front of me and quickly scanned the customers behind me product! The customer tried to get her to clear it off the screen so she can help me since he was behind me. And not asking me if it was ok if he can go ahead of me to pay of his light, said "its just one item" and allowed him to go around without my permission. The customer was nice enough to appologize but, the clerk, did not. No smiles, no thank yous or good days or nights, nothing. Horrible customer service. Id much rather drive to San Dimass Wal-Mart for there clean store and very helpful customer service. Duartes Wal-Mart is one of the WORST wal-marts to shop at!

We had a reasonable need of assistance several times and had to ask for one particular female manager in the Duarte store three separate times. All three times, she seemed a little unorganized (which is ok, I guess), but she kind of treated us (customers) like we feel these Walmart managers often treat their employees....and that is, with a lack of patience, respect and particularly with a fairly clearly manifested lack of a willingness to be helpful. We know these managers are busy sometimes... but the male managers we spoke to their were fine in their attitude. This lady it seems often has an attitude like we are her employees or something and it seems that she thinks she is really doing us a big favor, by doing what is just a part of her job. She should be more cordial and helpful to the public. We are senior citizens now. We do not wish her to get in trouble... that is why we prefer not to say her name, but we do think that someone higher up the ladder should tell some of these managers that the normal general public needs to be respectfully and helpfully treated. We are were polite. We should not be treated as an annoyance. She should LOSE the dominant attitude. Thanks for reading the post, if you do read the posts, Walmart Management.

This store is the epitome of why the word inept is in the dictionary. Whenever I call it seems that the only person doing their job is the operator. When you reach any department the employee working their normally does not actually work in the department you called. They have little product knowledge and only a few employees do. The most informed people work in electronics and fabric and craft. Only once did I get an employee in the small appliance department that went out of her way to help me buy the toaster oven of my choice. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I go to this store is for the prices not the customer service. I only recommend going to this store if you have done your own homework the product you are interested in buying. I have been coming to this store for approximately 12 years and have learned that if I want product knowledge to call another store and then buy it for at least 20% less here.

Walmart is about to completely dominate the cell phone industry. The electronics department has swallowed three cell phone stores + Radio Shack and is now poised for the Great Shift in cell phone service. After all this...who can tell me if my iPhone is compatible for a new contract with Straight Talk Cellular? Three people standing in a kiosk surrounded with $5 million in merchandise all devoted to cell phones - and no information, no training, no interest, no sale. Im really disappointed, and youd think management would care. In fact, my phone IS compatible and thats something I could have learned if an associate were willing to type a few numbers into an easily accessible website maintained by Straight Talk - something I learned when I came home. Why isnt Walmart doing more to train its people on simple tasks?

I will never spend one dollar at Walmart I bought USB Laptop Holder and fan when I was checking I asked the cashier what was the return policy she said 90 days with or without a receipt. after a month the unit stopped working I went back in to exchange all of sudden they are giving me the round around. I go back to the Isle where I got the unit the same exact one was there but a different color Three different manager told me they would not exchange or give me store credit because the one I bought was discontinued . They insisted I was mistaking and had bought the unit over 90 days ago. Walmart might be the low price leader but all they sell is cheap junk and they service is terrible.

My experierence was HORRIBLE, the employees arent even helpful, plus they take FOREVER to help you on the phone. So, one time I was planning to go to Walmart. Before I went I called to see if they had sparkly red shoes for my Dorothy costume, I called, they took 30 min to "help" me, they told me they didnt carry ANY red shoes at all. I went anyway to grab something to make for dinner, and when I asked the employee for assistance he said he would be back, but he never returned! I wandered around and guess what I found? Red, sparkly shoes!!!!! I paid for them and I told the employee why they told me they had none, she said they must have misheard. WHAT???

Employees walk around like they hate working there, ask for location of a item and you always get a " I dont know or point vaguely to a corner of the store, additionally Ive never heard one of them look up and say hello even when greeted first nor do they ever say excuse me when cutting in front of you. Generally stems from the asst. manager Tracy whom doesnt seem to see the need to instruct them to do so. There was a employee once there named Ricky who would greet and check when needed your receipt when exiting the store, due to the large theft problem there. He was extremely polite and friendly but they fired him when he asked for a raise.

Apparently this store is open till 12 but the fitting rooms are only open until 11, so aside from this place being completely unorganized its inconvenient and the employees are rude. We tried speaking an employee about trying something on and all she did was say their closed and walked away. One would think the security camera would notice a large group of people waiting in the fitting area crawling under the doors and unlocking them from the inside. I called the main line 4 times while waiting and was hung up on 3 times and never got an answer the last time. I post this while still waiting for my fitting room.
