BEST FOR: Meat and cheese WORST FOR: National brand products. TIPS FOR YOUR FIRST TRIP: Find a quarter. Keep it in your purse/wallet. Use for carts. Repeat. Bring your own bags. You will be bagging for yourself (which I dont mind since I prefer to be in control of that anyway. Kids out here cant bag!). They have a HUGE counter for bagging behind the check stands, so you wont have to stand there fumbling with your bags as people try to check out behind you at the check stand (like Superior). You can lay everything out and bag neatly. :) Anyway, onto the market itself--its clean and well lit. Both times Ive been there its been well stocked, and there have been employees inside to help. I dont know where people are getting the idea that theyre unfriendly, as I was asked on both occasions if I needed help finding something. Like Trader Joes, this is a place for cheese lovers. Their cheese prices are fantastic, and the quality is absolutely out of this world compared to the nasty store brands at Staters and Walmart. Ive tried the Colby Jack shredded and block cheddar, and the Jack was full, flavorful, and creamy (as it should be) and the cheddar was refreshingly sharp. The price was more than fair for the amount I got, as I expect from a store affiliated with TJs. This place is also a meat paradise. Im a big fan of Braunscheiger (pate), and they had a huge tube of it for 1.99$. Its the best Ive had since moving out here (my preferred brand isnt carried in California)--sharp and satisfying. Their chicken, pork, and ground beef prices are amazing if you buy in bulk! I will admit that I havent tried their produce yet, but the prices seemed fair enough. Sprouts is better and has a better selection, but until our Sprouts opens in Glendora, this may work in a pinch. Their milk is fine, a little cheaper than Stater Brothers and way cheaper than Wally World (Valu-Time milk IS cheaper, but something about how cheap it is combined with the name makes me paranoid to drink it.) I believe I paid around a buck seventy, but I cant remember. Their frozen food is also pretty good. Theyre not national brands, but theyre CHEAP, and good. the 79 cent chimichungas (compare to .99 cents at Staters) were tasty, as were the corn dogs (6 in a pack for 2.49). I have had their ice cream and... Im not a fan. Im WAY too spoiled by Ben and Jerrys, but thats fine as ice cream should be a sometimes food. :) In terms of snacks, theyre also fine--they have store brand versions of pretty much every type of cookie you could want. I got their version of chocolate Teddy Grahams and they were pretty good. Their buns are great--and again, price REALLY makes a difference. For 1.39 I got potato buns that were really tasty. They have cheaper buns than this, but I didnt try them. Im addicted to Orowheats Buttermilk Bread and they have a store brand version of that, but I havent tried it just yet. They also had some higher end broche buns and the like, but again--I didnt try those. :) They also have pre-made take and bake pizzas that are pretty tasty. Theyre a little pricey (6.50 for the one I got), but if youre feeling lazy and need to feed the fam, its still pretty affordable. Is it the end all, be all of supermarkets? No. Is it as cool as Trader Joes? No. Could you do a whole weeks shopping there? Yeah, but itd be hard. But is it a good discount market on its own? YES, and it is the PERFECT compliment to the Walmart right across the street. So grab a quarter, a bag, and give it a try.

Bring a quarter for the cart (you get it back), a reusable bag (or three), and an open mind, and enjoy some great savings! Its easy as that. Ive never experienced a busy time- it always seems to be almost empty. The checkout lines are therefore short and quick (especially since groceries are not bagged at the end of the conveyor). Efficiency seems to be the mantra throughout the store, and the low prices are the result. A little-known fact: ALDI is the parent company of Trader Joes, so you may find certain items relabeled at ALDI. Example: I thought I saw the same spring salad mix and trail mix at both stores.

Usually happy with this place. But today they had hardly inventory and the cashier had an attitude. Ive worked in customer service for the last 10 years, and the last 3 years as a manager, so Im not just being a dumb customer like retail people say about bad reviews. I get it. But I chose to spend my last $20 for the week here, totes regret it. Trader Joes always delivers great selection and amazing customer service- prices are comparable too. Ill be making the drive out there and recommending the people I associate with do the same.

Aldi has been my go to store for weekly groceries, we usually go to the one in Arcadia but we were in the area. This one is big, lots of stuff, prices were low and cheap as always. Give Aldi a chance to change your mind, just because theyre not name brand items doesnt mean you loose the quality. Bring a quarter for your shopping cart, and your reusable bags for your groceries. Unless you want to buy bags there.

I often shop at Aldi since Ive learned of this new market. I love to get the fresh fruits (avocado, strawberries, & blackberries), trail mix n nuts, and European chocolates which are of the best quality and prices. Aldi(s) at different location & cities are very convenient. It becomes my favorite store.

Was a great little store to get in N out. I was there about a week ago. Put me in the mind of FreshNEasy.. But, prices were better and they had a LIVE cashier. Not JUST self checkout. I was impressed. I most definitely will be back to shop.

My new favorite grocery store! Once you get over the fact that you need a quarter to rent a cart and that you need to bring your own bags you will love this place. No one can come close to their prices. I call it "THE WALMART KILLER" lol.

Aldi is a new culture of grocery store/supermarket. It has some great deals and not-so-great ones, but dont let the prices fool you. Quality is top notch and Im excited to go back. It feels like fresh and easy got revived.

They have low prices but no bags. Bring your own bags. Cheap $2 wine to $12 bottles. Low low prices and weekly specials. Sometimes eggs for 39 a dozen!!!

Like any other ALDI the prices are fantastic. The meat is surprisingly good here, and the produce is solid too albeit with a limited selection.

Best price on eggs/milk, no coupons or waiting for sales. Be prepared to bag your own items & put a quarter for the cart (youll get it back).
