Solidly middle class regional shopping mall, hugely popular with college students, blue collar workers, teens and families with children. This is the only shopping center around for about 30 miles that caters to lower and middle income people, so people as far as Oakland, Antioch, Vallejo and everywhere in between flock here. Weekends are typically very crowded, especially with teens and young adults. Somewhat safe, but with a regular helping of beggars, thugs, drug dealers and shady characters wandering and loitering around harassing people. Security does what it can to keep the mall decent. Restrooms are relatively clean, food court is typical fast food, and the mall is fairly dim and could use some updates and modernization. Well to do people with money and disposable income skip this place and head to Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, Bay Street in Emeryville or Stoneridge in Dublin. Everyone else comes here.

This is not sunvally mall just to get that straight. It is next to the mall though. It has a Safeway, Nordstrom rack, and Safeway gas station. This in my opinion is the largest grocery store in our area. It has quite a bit of organic produce, many, many bins of dried, seeds, nuts, ground types of flour, dried fruit, a bakery, a pretty big deli, a pharmacy, organic meat, seafood. Just a fairly big grocery store. The gas is by far cheaper than any place around and if you do your shopping at Safeway and spend a hundred dollars you get 10 cents off per gallon so its even cheaper. There is nearly always a long line but its worth it. Its a good place to shop.

My experience here has always been good. The atmosphere is great and it looks very alive. There are two floors and each floor has enough clothing stores to browse around and find something you like. It also has plenty of food and snack options to choose from, however, I feel like it needs to expand more and possibly add in a food court like other top tier malls because everything is scattered. It does tend to get very crowded on weekends and parking spots become available between 5 to 10 minutes or less if you get lucky. Its not as bad as other shopping malls, but theres still a wait time on weekends, especially on holidays.

Its full of cheap, perhaps trendy, teenie bopper stores. Does have one nice/casual restaurant and two other decent eateries. The food court is newish but, has a very sterile atmosphere. The kid/tween arcade/entertainment area is too loud and boring for the Jr. High kids my family knows. Wish theyd bring back a movie theater or add a rock climbing/zip line place. It is helpful to families to be able to go and leave together but, have "something for everyone". At least there is a grocery store nearby so parents can do some shopping while teens "hang out". Anchor stores, JC Penny, Sears and Macys keep this place alive.

Not a mall youd feel very safe in. My teenage daughter passed by the AT&T Kiosk, and one of the employees was constantly suggesting he get her phone number (not in a professional manner, only for his own pleasure) and hitting on her! I feel violated nearly every time I walk by one of these cheap kiosks, because the employees are just downright CREEPY! Not only that, but the customer service in stores like American One are awful. The workers go about their conversations with eachother, with no intention of helping out customers when asked, and have a snooty attitude. Overall, I couldnt recommend this mall. Disgusting.

they have really renovated this place over the years. My favorite part of the mall is just the huge lounge area downstairs in the middle! Who needs screaming kids and a play area when you can just take them to a park! Instead, rest your legs after staring at merchandise!! Many malls lack benches and other seating areas...and thats my main reason for just staying at home most times. Other staples are Teavania and Forever 21. Its nice to have one big place where you can find just about anything upscale including the friendly and helpful, but slightly annoying sales cart people

We live in Brentwood so this mall isnt close to home but, we dont see driving out to Concord anything life threatening anyways. I love this mall! It has familiar stores that Ala Moana on Oahu has and its enclosed and pretty. I think the arcade/bowling alley is a nice addition. The food court is yummy, looks like they are adding a Japanese restaurant to it. Parking is great and the center kiosks arent pushy trying to sell you products you dont want or need. Weve been there twice now in the 3.5 months weve been here. Excellent alternative to Streets of Brentwood.

Additional stores added 2016-17 with addition of newer food court replacement. Kind of unusual characters. Security better. Newer Concierge. Godiva left. Davids Tea came in as (All) Teavannas close ($bux) as others come and go. Leases must be less than Simons. Most of these players have been here for decades. Sears and Pennys alike Stoneridges And Macys has also survived the numerous closures nationwide. Fun to go during black friday and holiday shopping. Garages are old and NO EV parking whatsoever. Its now the end of 2017

A lot of stores, good variety. Not a fan of the big Victorias Secret ads on the outside of the store. And that at certain points the Pink store across the hall from it will have scantily clad lady pictures out front so youre bombarded on both sides for like 20 feet. But hey, the rest of the mall is pretty great! Definitely try out Tomis Sushi. Not the most amazing sushi youll ever taste, but definitely worth the trip. Cheaper Monday - Thursday before 3pm.

Very good choice of shops for all types of people. Food court could have better selection of fast food, but it looks nicer than most food courts. Very clean. It has an arcade and bowling alley that is great fun for the family. The mall is understated due to lack of a theatre but the arcade, great selection of sit-down restaurants on the mall property and nearby, and the great collection of stores makes up for it.,on my opinion. It is a great mall

Looking for great customer service and more bang for the buck with your TV and phones? Ask for Daniel at AT&T. He knows every option...is patient...and he follows up. He saved us money and improved our service at the same time. And when there was a minor glitch later, he took it upon himself to get it fixed and get it right. In truth, I have saved money with great help from others at this store before, but Daniel is a cut above.

The developers put a new food court here which looks really nice, but the food borders on terrible. I tried three places, the philly steak sandwich place, and it was really dry and bit juicy. The Chinese food is pretty tasteless and overly salty. The pizza place doesnt serve slices, so you have to wait a long time for a mediocre pizza. The stores are ok, nothing fancy, which is good for the area it serves.
