Toys R Us - Clovis [5841] Well, Id give this place a terrible review if it wasnt for Stephanie. I went here after almost ordering something online. it said there were quite a bit left of this merchandise in Clovis...drove all the way to Clovis. my fiancé asked the sales associate if they had that item. she told him they dont have it. w/o checking the inventory. I worked in management for retail. I knew almost everything in my store & how much of it. so I figured she knew what she was talking about. but online said they had it. so I went up and asked her to double check. so her coworker told her what & how to do it by checking on the computer inventory. at this point I realize this girl is new or a lazy employee. after less than 15 min & after her doing something on the register then helping another customer she comes up to me. she says yes we have it & checks the shelf where weve been standing & checking for the last half hour. she said, "if it isnt here then we dont have it. " so I asked her what happens if I order it online & it says I can pick it up in less than a hour. she said if we cant find it, they will cancel the order. okay... so I ordered it online. low & behold 45min later it is READY FOR PICK UP AT THE SAME STORE!!! so I go to the customer service ask for the items. ask who I can make a customer complaint to, I get an immature guy with lipstick smeared all over his chin & bottom lip named Mark. not listening to my complaint, & asking "well what item is it? is it the same item you ordered? whats the name of the item." uh..my confirmation email with all the info on my screen has been set in front of you.. apparently he was too afraid to scroll it down? or touch my phone? lol he then says "let me see if we have it"... What? the email sent to me said, your item is ready, come get it. He said, "well I dont its all messed up I hope we have it". wtf. he sends a nice & very quick & efficient employee to go find my items. he leaves me standing there. never even got to finish my compliant... this guy SHOULD NOT be in management. then this extremely professional and compassionate woman named Stephanie basically comes & cleans up this mess of a situation. she takes care of me very quickly after Ive been waiting for this Mark kid to get back to me. she looks at my email, gets my items that were at the front desk I am standing at ready for me! she gives me a 20% discount for my time. she notifies me that Mark guy is the manager!! she should be the manger. to top it off as shes ringing me up & trying to refund me, Mark comes back(lipstick cleaned off a bit) & orders another girl to give me a refund & I tell him, "Stephanie is helping me already." I tell him this twice. he ignores me twice. & orders another employee to do it. Stephanie just tells the young lady, she is handling it. this Mark is a joke. the girl at the electronics section is a lazy sales associate. this mess could have been avoided if she just sent someone to look for it. the young man that went to go get my items came back with two more of what I wanted. so theres MORE of what I wanted in the back. quick & easy to find. I hope they hire more people who care about what they are doing as Stephanie & that stock employee did. two stars are for them. Im never coming back to this Clovis store until this idiot manager is gone. I have worked the last 7years on thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas & during tax & holiday seasons. I always treated my customers with respect even if they didnt treat me that way. I did my job & checked boxes, under shelves & climbed latters to find what they needed. if this person cannot handle the pressures of customer service. find someone else who can!!

All though the store maybe a little run down it is one of the originals entering the store youre always greeted always help When asked theyre always so eager to help will even walk you to the area of what youre looking for instead of just saying though youre go there went to find my granddaughters their birthday present as they are turning 1 and 3 wanted something that I could get that would last them and that they would enjoy was able to buy them a wagon and it being the very last one was tickled to 10 young nam that helped us was able to find it and in the young lady at the counter event hope just check out was just so wonderful and so sweet As a cancer patient I appreciate that extra step to make me feel like I am still a person I sometimes get confused and a little lost and they made it so I never felt uncomfortable never felt silly asking a question I was able to go out of the store was something that I know my grandchildren will enjoy for a very long time thank you so very much

Return policies suck. We bought my son a race track that consisted of that are all sold separately. You can only have 10 returns per calendars year. My songbird not like the race track and when we took it back they counted each component as a separate return therefore knocking out all of our returns in one fell swoop. My family lives far away and always shops at toys r us for our sons Christmas presents but I had to tell them not to this year because we wouldnt be able to return anything. Upper management was unwilling to help us. Very disappointed.

Hello I went your store and had the worst experience I every had in a public store I was look at cause the color of my skin as if I was going to steal something I was doing was looking. The staff there were gathering together everywhere I went as if I was plotting how I was going to steal. If I ask for help then thats when I need it so get it right.

Biggest is the lack of pricing on MANY items and things under wrong tags etc.. especially with the smaller/cheaper items. Stickers under "$2.69" were rung up $3.49, thing I found in $1 bin was $3, etc.. just be sure to double check at the register, I didnt realize until I got home! Otherwise clean store, nice staff, easy returns all good stuff.

Was not looking forward to birthday shopping for my two young nieces but I was pleasantly surprised at Toys"R"Us as the staff was both helpful and polite, they helped me find just the right presents and even price-matched with the competition saving over $60.00 off their listed price. I very much recommend this store...

Love this location! Customer Service and selection is number one at this location! I would not go any where else. Christmas is not an easy time of year for any retailer but I have always been treated great here!

Tried calling to talk to a service rep and after waiting 20 minutes someone started to answer and the I was disconnected. This happened twice. I will go to the fresno store. At least they answer their phone.
