I love this market because its one of the few places to buy Japanese foods and goods. The place is clean and bright, and it also has a small dining area to sit down and eat. The employees are helpful and nice, but they kind of looked or felt kinda tired like Walmart employees last time I asked for help. The prices are little overpriced compared to Target or Walmart, but I understand that most of the products was shipped overseas. But the big problem for me is parking since its almost impossible to find a parking near the store, its always packed! But the market is great nevertheless.

I take business trips to Tokyo about three times a year, so I sometimes get a hankering for the food when I get back to Cal. They have all sorts of Japanese groceries, but the winner for me (especially in the winter) are their Nikuman. These are sort of like bao, except bigger. They usually have pork and vegetarian nikuman, and theyre great. Their boxed lunches are good too, if youre craving sushi but dont have the time to sit down at a sushi restaurant.

This little Japanese market is a place I enjoy coming too. If your in need of Japanese grocery products this is the place. They have a pretty good selection of Japanese snacks and candy . My go to spot to get the different flavored kit kats that are not sold in our regular stores . The ready made food is always a plus when on the run. Always fresh and never had a bad experience with the food .

Good place to buy all your japanese groceries. The sashimi fish is not the freshest though. And not enough japanese snack foods. Price is a little high. But definitely if you bought everything there and did it all yourself, much much cheaper than going to japanese restaurant.

I think the Japanese store is most comfortable in the market in CA and has a best quality food for Japanese. Moreover, the staff is very funny and kind. They have like authentic services of quality in Japan. I recommend everyone if you want to see real Japanese food and service.

I only been here once and I find everything here are cheaper than Mitsuwa. Good selection and most important the price is good ! Yes, they charge like $1 per visit or membership fee. But is worth it in my opinion. Japanese version of Costco but no need to buy a bulk in here.

Been there quite often, everything is ok besides one incident. The inexperienced cashier ask for my ID when I bought a bottle of sake and Im 62 years old. She said thats the law, but the law is that you have to check the ID if the person looks under the age of 30.

Good place to find decent quality Japanese foods that arent stocked at the various discount Chinese markets nearby. Their selection as a whole isnt great, but its usually possible to find everything you need to cook Japanese comfort foods. Prices are mediocre.

This market although small has a very good selection of Japanese groceries and products including sushi and other prepared foods. The market is clean and comfortable and easy to navigate. The staff are very friendly and professional and very helpful.

Great homey little market to satisfy my Japanese food cravings. Fresh foods are made daily and go on sale in afternoon. I get all my pocky, calpico, and umeshu from here. Been a customer for 15 years now!
