I used to work at a Walmart in a different state. Over there, it was the highest grossing business in the area. The managers made sure the place is clean. They had cleaners buff the floors every night. A lot of cashiers were friendly and would talk to the customers. This Walmart in Chino is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of that Walmart I used to work at. I havent seen one floor tile shiny at this place. The bathrooms was disgusting last time I used the place. None of the cashiers seem to know how to have a conversation with the customers. When I asked someone where to find something, I got someone that couldnt even speak english properly. Then you have younger employees that act like they are too good to be working there and yet still work there. I am really curious who the human resources person is because most of the employees at the chino walmart wouldnt be hired anywhere else in my opinion. Then again you can have a look at the store and realize the manager really doesnt care. Its the filthiest Walmart I have ever been to. And its obvious they dont buff the floors or do any maintenance.

Sadly, I still shop here. They have horrible customer service and a store manager that I have never seen even though I have asked for him in the past many times he is never in the store. I am always told that he is at a different store. Maybe if he spent time in his own store and trained his employees better they would have a better rating. I have come to this store for so long that I know where everything is. I simply come here because the other low price store of my choice closed down (Food 4 Less). I just go in get what I need and hopefully I dont ever have to interact with the sad excuses for employees that are employed at this location. I have been to other locations and they all have excellent customer service and the people are always very helpful. It is a sad state of affairs that this nice, large, and well laid out store isnt one of the better locations. As soon as I can locate another store in close proximity to my home with similar prices I am gone, never to return to doing my weekly grocery shopping here.

Worst customer service across. This store operates independently from Walmart. I bought wii controllers that stopped working 2 months in. I didnt have the receipt, but had the credit card I used. They would not look up the purchase history, something that walmart help desk said they should do. Nina the customer service clerk was extremely dismissive straight up. When I asked for the manager, she said he is not here (I later found out she was lying). Joe the store co-manager rocked up after I called 1800 number. He was even more dismissive and belittled the phone customer support saying they are only call center clerks and implied they are useless. When I persisted Joe made up a new rule, where I have to go through my bank statements to find the date I made the purchase, so he can look up my receipt. It was clear that the operation of this store is dictated by Lawrence to the whole staff to make his numbers at the expense of customers experience.

As I am writing this review, I am really frustrated. When I started writing this review, I was on hold for over 23 minutes. its amazing how bad the service is. I called and all I wanted to do is to check if a product was available at the store, none of the 4 people that answer the phone could check the UPC. Funny how such a big store system doesnt have a system that the associates cannot check UPC for an item when online it says to present UPC to any associate. Its now over 26 minutes of holding and unfortunately, their web page shows limited on their stock, so after being hold for 30 minutes, it will be faster to go to the store down the street and check their inventory myself then actually hoping that some one will answer my call. Amazing how such a big store has such a poor management. I wish I could show the print screen on this post of my caller duration.

Worst customer service every time weve had to go there. And the only reasons we go is cause theyre optn late. Associates ignore your asking for help and when they do decide to, they do it with an attitude as youre taking something away from them. Dont bother trying to call for an item check cause they never answer. Pallets left all over the floor after 9pm which is a safety hazard. Ive worked at Home Depot for years before retiring and I can tell you that a pallet on the floor during business hours was means of a write up. Seems Walmart could care less about employee actions and consumers concerns. I hope that mystery shoppers really give it to them on reports and for Cal OSHA to walk through that store after 9pm to see how careless they are. Even their associates with pallet Jacks abandoning them on the sales floor so someone can trip over one.

Pulled in to get oil change...guy argued Idont get a filter...I said you always get a fillter with oil change..he even called another tech over to ask..then says, "Oh i was thinking air filter.".they said 1 and 1/2 hr as everyone at lunch...I returned to my truck with grease on both fenders, hood ,and chrome grill..it wasnt vacuumed as stated on receipt...receipt said battery checked and good..yet Aric checked it when I pulled in and said it needed to be charged...which is it.?.i returned and brought tech out to show him grease..he didnt care. I asked where Mgr.Michael is...Tech said he went to another store..(he was the only one there with any brains...)Last time I went there my window reservoir was dry and not vacuumed either..Micheal personnally corrreted that...NOT. going back

Customer service is terrible; dont order things from the website and pick up in store. They will not honor any deals that you get online. I ordered a product that clearly stated in the description that was a 4 pack (and all the reviews on the item confirmed that you would get four individual items). When I went to pick up in store, they refused to give me four, stating that the price in store for that item was only supposed to be for a single one, even though I showed them the item listing where it said that it was for 4 items. They also misplaced my item and had to look for 30 minutes before they could find it, making it very awkward for the long line of customers who were also waiting to pick up items.

They never keep anything in stock. I can never complete my grocery list in one trip because basic items are not on the shelves. I thought Walmart had a high tech system which lets them know what and when to order. How can you be out of lettuce? Any kind of lettuce? There are always empty spaces on the shelves. In addition, hire enough employees. Whats the point of having a million registers if you are only opening 7? Its even like that on busy holidays. I hate that you can NEVER get in and out quickly. No point going early in the morning because it will still be a long line with only one or two registers open. Hire more staff, keep items in stock, keep the place clean and open more registers. Please!
