UPDATE: The Owner Contacted me and offered to make it right. I took my daughter down tonight and the two ladies on staff went above and beyond. They fit my daughter with NEW replacement Brooks and made sure SHE was happy. This is the service I was expecting in the first place. It was a slow start but good recovery. Im glad the new owners want to continue the customer service fleet feet is known for. Original: First off Fleet Feet, in the past, has been excellent. Not so anymore... My 8 year old daughter, three years ago, discovered she loved running through the Girls on the Run program (Excellent Program). Fleet feet being a sponsor immediately got our business. They went above and beyond to outfit our aspiring runner with whatever she needed. Fast forward to Today. My daughter, now 11, saved up HER OWN MONEY and purchased a pair of Nike Running shoes for $140. After a few months of light usage the rubber is starting to delaminate from one of the soles. Clearly a manufacturing defect. My wife and daughter brought the shoes back to the store and spoke to the clerks regarding the issue. The response they got shocked me. "The shoes look worn and we should expect a behavior like this." My wife continued to protest and the clerk said "Perhaps you (my wife) would have better luck shopping at Big 5." My wife never raised her voice, never cursed, she just left. With a crushed 11 year old daughter. I know the store was sold recently, looks like the previous owners took their commitment to the customer with them.

I participated in a 10K Fleet Feet training program through the Chico store in the summer of 2009. The training program was awesome. I was a little intimidated to join because I am not really a "runner" but the trainers were great (Thanks Susan, Vince and David). I ended up finishing the 10K and I left the group with a running partner. Now we are training together for a 1/2 marathon in June 2010. Stop into the store and ask about the training programs. The staff is super helpful

Went in to get sized for shoe inserts. Exceptionally great service, pricey but you only get 1 pair of feet so take care of them. I believe Hayden was my clerk. Very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. Will def recommend to anyone looking for inserts or a great pair or shoes.

To me this is just another place to buy expensive tennis shoes and inserts the do not work as well as they say they told me that my insurance would last me a year and it my feet would start feeling better its been 4 months and my feet hurt just as bad as it did before

The staff are very helpful and at least more knowledgeable than me. They helped me find not only a pair of the most comfortable running shoes Ive ever owned, but a pair of insoles that have almost completely eliminated my back pain. Great place, great people.

One of the great businesses in Downtown Chico. Great selection of running gear and running knowledge. Their customer service is outstanding. If youre a road warrior or a weekend warrior you will be welcomed.

Great people, great running programs. When I was pricing running shoes Fleet Feet was cheaper than Dicks but with Fleet Feet you get the some to actually help you find the right shoe for you.
