Bear Basin Outfitters cannot be trusted. They cross the line of incompetence to outright theft. As I write this, I am calling my credit card company to dispute a $1,750 charge. After 6 weeks of haggling with them, I still have no product and no refund. I have been lied to repeatedly and their staff is rude and will not follow through when they tell you they will call you back. On 9/19/2012 I ordered a riflescope priced at $1,750 and also paid for overnight shipping. I was promised that the scope was in stock and that I would have it the next day. On 10/12/2012, after 3 weeks of excuses and and no returned phone calls, I finally gave up and cancelled the order and asked for a refund. As I write this post on 10/26/2012 I still have not received the refund. Again, Ive heard one excuse after another for why it hasnt been processed and again I have had to call them repeatedly. They just will not follow through. The other reviewer mentioned "bait and switch sales" practices. That was exactly my experience too. They made repeated attempts to have me accept a cheaper scope than what I ordered. They are thieves. Stay far away.

worse company I ever dealt with. Took almost a month too get my order .A person said twice it was on its way. Never came. Finally I got hold of in shipping, who hung up on me calling mey said it was on its way and I said how about a tracking number. Said it would appear online. Never happened. Said they misplaced the order. Never happened .I ordered something the 2nd of THIS MONTH HAS NOT COME YET. What kind of customer service is this. Do these people know how to tell the truth.

Excellent service and great prices. They have always given great prices and great customer support. I have purchased several high end optics from them and have not found better prices from an authorized dealer anywhere. They also offer great financing options. Highly recommended.

Just got my Nightforce NXS, Barret BORS, scope covers and rings FED EX overnight John and Lacey really took care of me through my whole order. Nobody else had these items which were also at a great price. Thank you Bear Basin.
