Over the years I lived in Butte County, California; I have never enjoyed a Barnes and Noble as much as I enjoyed this particular store. I always had positive experiences-The employees always seemed glad to assist whether by phone or when I was able to visit the store. I currently live in Santa Rosa, and have had negative experiences. They seem snobbish and aggravated that they have to help. I also used Barnes and Noble during the 1990s and had good experiences with the Walnut Creek store. I bought alot of books to help aid in my research ventures for the university I attended. But, none compare to the Chico store. They get an A +++++++

For Customer Service: Hmmmmm..... While I visit my local Barnes and Noble in Corona, California, infrequently, I find their customer service to be at least friendly. In Chico, Jacob at the interior Starbucks was the only person who said hello. Even at the Customer Service desk while two service people were occupied with one customer, I greeted the young woman behind the counter when her first words to me were, "Did you want something?" Yes, but you did not have what I requested.

One of my favorite places in Chico. Good books, coffee, and atmosphere. The store is always clean and organized. The B&N staff are always helpful to the utmost. If the store does not have a book that you are looking for they will offer to order it for you or give you other options around town. I definitely recommend B&N to friends and family.

I went to Barnes and Noble to stroll, and as I was looking for the perfect book I found myself in need of a Latte and a snack. I was greeted by a very courteous employee, Morgan. I was so pleased with my service and cant wait to go back! The Latte was very delicious. Couldnt of asked for a better Thursday evening.

A wonderful place to wait for a friend. The Starbucks inside has great coffee and food, plus you can bring your B&N books in to read while you relax. When you finish your coffee, there are stacks of books waiting for you to browse. Of course, free WiFi is provided!

Ive always found the staff at the Chico store to be very helpful. They dont just give you a vague idea where to find something when you ask. They take you to the location and will even help to find a specific book if needed!

It gets 5 stars for selection. If you dont find what your looking for I am surprised. They have a large Starbucks so you can enjoy yourself. Great kids area that does events. Massive bargain book area for gifts.

Who doesnt love a good book store. Every time I come here I find what Im looking for and usually something else I found interesting. They have a coffee shop with tables inside. Customer service is excellent.
