Had an incredible experience getting my first tattoo here! Ive walked into other shops and felt awkward and uncomfortable, but I didnt feel that way at all here! All of the artists are super friendly and helpful and I loved that they check out each others work and compliment each other! Shop was beautifully decorated and most importantly very clean! Loved all the kitchy decor and holographic cat picture in the (also very clean!) bathroom!! Great shop, great environment, great artists, Ill definitely be back here for tattoo number two!!

12 Volt is the first and only shop I came/come to in Chico. The artists here are not only very talented and genuine people, but their professionalism comes second to none. The shop itself is an incredibly clean and comfortable environment as well. They also have amazing guest artist Kyle Lutge come up to Chico and I have had the pleasure of being tattooed by him twice now and could not be happier with his incredible work! After researching artists all over NorCal to start my tattoo work I finally settled on 12 Volt based on Zac and Juans portfolios. So far Zack has done three tattoos for me and I couldnt be more pleased. The shop is super clean and professional. I felt comfortable right away. As far as the work goes, Zac s lines are super clean and all my tattoos healed perfectly. Im addicted and Im definitely going back soon.

I have had two tattoos done by Zac, a full thigh piece and 20 words of text on my inner arm, and I couldnt be happier with them! I plan on scheduling two more tattoos in the near future. People stop and ask me where I got them done all the time! If youre looking for a friendly shop with a great atmosphere and talented staff, 12 Volt is the place to go! I wouldnt have anyone else tattoo me!

Ive had three pieces done at 12 Volt by two different artists and I can honestly say Ill be coming around for more. Aside from being one of the cleanliest places around town, everyone there is super knowledgeable and you feel comfortable as soon as you step through the door. Their professionalism is second to none and their work shows it. I can not recommend this place enough!

Loving the work my sister is doing during her apptenticeship. I can tell they want her to succeed and letting her art speak for itself. In such a short amount of time they have helped her be the best she can be. Its a clean, well maintained environment and I would definitely go here to get more work done. Good job 12 volt! Hands down one of the most professional tattoo shops in california. Very clean, all the artists are rad and have great personalities. Ive gotten my last 3 tattoos from them. Very traditional tattoo shop. If u wanna get a tattoo my suggestion is going to 12 volt. Spin the wheel of destiny while youre there!
