WATCH OUT!!! A friend recommended Buffy. I made an appointment weeks in advance. I show up and have to sit over 1.5hrs because she was running late. I could understand being late, it happens. I explained what i was looking for and she was excited...Must have been excited to STEAL my money. She told me to give $100 as a down payment for her to work on my design. I gave it...not a lot to pay for great work. RIGHT?! WRONG, two weeks later I never received anything. I called her and asked, "Did you have anything?" Nope, Ill draw it when you come in? What kind of professional is this? I called Sacred Rose and wanted to cancel my appointment and I would like to get my deposit back. They read off their policy...and realized that I deserved my money back. At that time they told me Buffy would call me back...NEVER HAPPENED. LOST $100, which isnt a lot...but its a lot to me :( Sad I had to go through this trauma and wanted to share experience so that this wouldnt happen to others.

♥♥♥ this place! Researched for months to find the best place--this is it, hands f***ing down. I chose Karen, a very skilled tattoo artist who owns/operates the shop. She was truly AMAZING and talked me the rough parts. Shes doing a back piece (work in progress) and I hadnt had any ink for 12 years---wussyville!! Ill be going back in a month for the coloring, and Karen was kind enough to book her acupuncturist for my next visit. So glad I chose Sacred Rose and Karen Roze! Go there: You wont be disappointed....

Ive been going to SR for almost a decade, since it was back in SF. Karen, the owner, runs a great shop and all of the artists are talented. Just got some work from Gregg Quinn, hes really talented at the old style (a la Sailor Jerry). The artists do come and go every few years so check the website and look through their portfolios to find the right artist for you. The shop is always clean and the space is quite large and feels open and bright. The music is almost always great.

Just finished a four sessions tattoo with Buffy Lauer and I can only say that I love it :) She has been very helpful and friendly and made me a wonderful drawing. She answered all my questions and proposed some great ideas. Only Never had any problem. The shop is very clean and all the artists I met are very friendly. I would really recommend this shop and especially Buffy for any tattoo :)

Did my research and chose Tom to perform my tattoo.. He did an awesome job coming up with exactly what I wanted and it came out better then excepted..will be going to SR for all of my other tattoos and referring as many people as I can. Friendly, awesome, clean,professional, did everything perfectly.

Such a cool shop! All the artist are extremely talented. My husband is in the process of a big upper body piece done by Joy Shannon. Definitely check out her work! Shes very talented and knowledgeable about Reiki tattooing. Its definitely out of our way, but this will be our new go to shop.
