Ive been to the Berkeley Pet Food Express several times and always got good help. Plus I love the "buy 3 cans of (high quality) dog food and get one free" policy. But last week was the best. My dog had just developed loose poop again and only a month ago we had that along with a big vet bill. The two male workers recommended their canned pumpkin and were willing to add all the reassurance I needed--i.e. repeat reassurances till I relaxed. And like they said, it worked! I really appreciate their products, services, and people skills.

I am writing to congratulate you on the extaordinary service I received today in your Berkeley store, mostly from your store manager, and also from an employee. Even though the service I was requiring for my cat was not routinely offered at the store (help in cat grooming), they saw at once that this cat was in need and they went out of their way to help me and my little cat Kobe. I have seldom seen such dedication and such love for pets. I am adopting this store from now on.

Nicest people on Earth!!! The store is spotless, the folks that work there seem to really care, and go out of their way to help. Its hard to imagine a pet food they dont have, or a pet toy youre looking for. Its a no brainer for your pet needs. Throw in the fact theyre helping local animal shelters, why go anywhere else.

The Best for Misty & Mikey & me ! Researched & sampled the cleanest cat food for our acne-prone loved ones. It took months of trial n errors+. All the folks have been Knowledgeable (or found an expert) & Fun. &! To mention: 4 for the price of 3 everyday !$! My Pleasure, Bill

Not the biggest pet shop in the immediate area, but good for picking up supplies for dogs and cats. They have vet appointments in the store on certain weekends.

Very friendly staff with good selection of products. Adoptions held at this location regularly. Area is a little sketchy though but thats not their fault.
