this is an amazing place. very warm and accomodating. i have a new puppy that will soon be a therapy dog, they welcomed him and myself, gave us a seat and even gave my pup a treat! highly recommend for families!

Great bookstore in North Berkeley right next to Cheeseboard, Chez Panisse, a dessert pastry shop, and lots more. A nice selection of curated new and noteworthy, as well as books by category.

Maybe its just because I was in the store a day or two before Christmas but I found the place to be short on books and heavy on tasteful wooden kids gifts and toys etc
