I wonder why you put all of those check outs in your new store in Ft. Smith, I went into this store to purchased one item and went to the check out to check out. One check out was open with two people handling one customer that was apparently returning a bunch of jewelry item. Never did either of the people behind the counter acknowledge my presence even when I moved over to make eye contact with them. After waiting sometime, i layed my item down and left, never to return to this store again, when Hobby Lobby is just down the road.

A smaller version of any other michaels, but has a different layout than most Ive been to. And there is a very small staff, only ever been one cashier at any time Ive been, with a long line. though I love getting art supplies, id appreciate a knowledgeable staff ready to help, not having to figure everything out myself since there is almost no one there at any given time. I still love the products and feel though.

Wonderful framing dept. With very helpful staff. I love their jewelry dept. Store is way to crowded with merchandise and promotions when you walk in the front door. I have to agree with the previous review that there are never enough cashiers. Might benefit the store to have a dedicated return center.
