THATS IT, IVE HAD ENOUGH!!!! I have given this place a chance for 6 months, stopping in every other week for the kids some icecream. The place itself is a really cool little outwest store, but the service is terrible. The staff next to never smiles, they are bossy instead of helpful, and they dont greet you with a hello let alone a thank u on your way out! Extremely rude and please help them when a REAL convenient store opens nearby not so overpriced because then is when they will wish or realize they should treat there locals with some class and respect!!!!

The atmosphere is great. I moved to Arizona a few years ago and this little store is why. It is an old fashioned store that sells candy, sundries and large supply of farm products. They sell cowboy hats not for the tourists, but because the cowboys and ranch hands and farmers need them. A hitching post outside for the many horse riders that go there. Makes a person..proud to be American Ice cream on a hot day, a great sub or sandwich for lunch. Always a cool refreshing drink. Beer for my horses. Hardware supplies, Tack. The only one stop shop in Waddell!

Got the too bad so sad treatment when I said something about them charging a .75 charge for using a credit card under $8. I talked to the owner about it and all I got was attitude. I would rather drive to town than stop here. You would think in such a small community that they would treat there customers better. If visa finds out that they charge people to use there credit cards they will lose visa and master card processing.

I ate here with a friend of mine that lives in the area. He told me it was a hidden treasure and I now know why, THE FOOD WAS AWESOME and Portions were great. I had the Carnitas Burrito and chips with cheese sauce. I could not eat all of it!! I was totally satisfied and for the people crying about the service, remember that this is a small store in the middle of nowhere and these people are kind loving and heartfelt folks.

So disappointed! We bought 8 bales of Bermuda grass for our horses. The hay is awful! We found water bottles, coke cans, bird feathers, thick sticks and other trash in the flakes. When I called they just said that this has happened with their alpha before and that they couldnt inspect every bale, with no solution offered. I will not be buying hay from them again.

Love this place so much! They have such a friendly atmosphere! There alfalfa is so fresh and has lots of flowers. Our horse, chose the alfalfa over there pellets which is very rare. There ice cream is so good. They have so much good stuff there, not cheaply made.

Love going to Out West General Store. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. The food is good too. Reminds me of going to visit my grandparents in Kansas. I would recommend this place for a quick stop for ice cream or sub.
