My experience goes to two stories, one with discount, one without. WITH DISCOUNT - One night I pulled in with a tire that had been losing air slowly but the check tire light finally came on. My schedule is awful so when I pulled up, I didnt realize it was about 15 minutes after their closing time. I saw the sign on the door and went back to my car. I got out my I pad and started looking up other locations for tire repair. The big problem is that I live about 60 MILES from that store. About another 15 minutes passed and I was just climbing in my car when someone knocked on my window. It was one of the discount guys and he asked what was wrong and I just told him I didnt know they were closed and asked if he knew anyone that wasnt figuring maybe he would since he was in that business. He said no one close and I thanked him and he said, "wait a minute, you cant drive on a tire with a nail, if that is what it is, that isnt safe." With that, he pulled it into the bay and fixed my tire. Even better, there was no charge for the flat repair. I offered a few times to pay him something, or tip him and instead he asked me to contribute to the charity of the month, Breast cancer research! What amazing service!!!!! STORY AT NOT DISCOUNT - Last night my tire light comes on and I am right in front of an open Fletcher Tire in Maricopa, AZ. I pull in and told him. They guy told me they close in 45 minutes and said he would just put air in the tire. I asked if he could check to see if any of the tires had a nail and he acted like I was evil to do so! Remember, they dont close for 45 minutes. They put air in my tires and tried to give it back to me. When I insisted they at least check the guy jacks up my car, takes a flashlight and points it at the tires and spins each tire. Then he backs out, without looking, and takes it for a 5 minute test drive. When done, he pulls across a blind drive without even looking! Odds it would get hit were huge doing that. I got lucky. So nothing was done and they didnt care. I asked for the name of the guy at the counter and no one would tell me. While there I saw another kid almost wreck a brand new huge deisel pickup by test driving it and flying around a corner losing control. What did this teach me? That I dont care how convenient Fletcher is, I will ALWAYS BUY FROM DISCOUNT and will continue to praise their service when the chance arises! Discount not only insured my safety, with their actions, but insured a life long customer. By the way, do you guys franchise? Id LOVE to put Fletcher out of business by opening a discount in Maricopa!

I bought a Tire from Discount Tire and mind you I know absolutely nothing about cars... I was told they could still give me the tire but couldnt put it on for me. I was confused and asked why. I was then told "whoever put your tire on did it too tight and now TWO of the Lug nut bolts need to be replaced and that they can not do it here." I was still charged full price as if they put it on for me including an "Installation" FEE" $134.50 and They referred me to another place even though it was now 6pm and every tire shop was closed. They told me I wouldnt be charged for them to put the tire on. So I went to Master Brakes the next day where they charged me $70 to replace the 2 bolts. Also I asked them how a bolt or whatever could be so tight they have to break it off- and they said "Only with a Power Tool, unless youre superman or something...." Guess my husband is Superman obviously- since he put the tire on. So the total for my one tire came to $204.50 for one tire and two new bolts and the alignment is still off because that would cost more....

Im very disappointed with the way this discount handled my buisness. On the way from Payson to Mesa I broke a valve stem and ended up ruining my 400 dollar tire. To and insult to injury when I called discount that day they said they would have the tire in the next day at 12 and would call when it came in. The next day I hadnt received a phone call at 1 so I called in. What happened next blew my mind, the guy said they had no record of my order and told me there was nothing he could do. Im driving on a very used spare and have to head back to my house Sunday in Show Low praying that nothing happens to my truck with my wife and kid in it. Im just lost how someone can take all your information down and the next day it disapears. If you plan on going to this store good luck. The discount in Show Low would never treat anyone in this way!

I went here because my back left tire went flat and so did my spare but I didnt want to buy another used tire since that was why they went flat to begin with. One was just old and the other got a chain stuck in it...Anyway, I came here because it was right down the street from my work and they were open til 6. My fiance told me that when the first flat went out, one of the guys at discount tire stopped and helped him put the spare on. The next day when i came in, they checked everything out and was VERY honest about which tires needed to be changed. I spoke with Gabriel and Chase who were absolutely amazing, i would suggest this location to anyone. Thank you two for helping me out, it meant the world to me!

Took car there 1/11/11. They replaced my tire with 30$ lifetime checkup fee. Said back rear tire was showing sign of ware, but assured me replacement wasnt necessary. 2/27/10, same back rear tire was on the brink of blowing out when I pulled over and put the full spare on. Took car there today, they said my warranty wouldnt cover the tire because IT WAS TOO DAMAGED. I WAS IN HERE 2 MONTHS AGO! The employee there said he would spot me 30$ off the tire, but then charged me the same lifetime checkup fee. And the new tire cost me 70 dollars anyways with the fees. NOT SATISFIED.

Discount Tire has always been a great experience, I cant say enough good things about them. Every employee is running around and rushing to get customers in and out as quickly as possible. You can tell customer service is really important to them. I recently had a terrible experience with another tire shop, and I came to Discount to see if they could fix it. Tyler Z was my service rep, and he went above and beyond to help me. I cant say enough great things about him and how diligent he was making sure everything turned out well. Thank you Tyler and Discount!
