Prescott has only a few stores to find quality hiking/running shoes, and Big 5 is one of them. Its a bummer because theyre unorganized, and understaffed with a cluttered atmosphere, and the limited selection of shoes they have have a limited selection of sizes. Its such a waste of time to go their, find a shoe Im willing to settle with, have a hard time finding a person to fetch my size from the back, be told they dont have my size in-store. Repeat this process five more times until you leave the store with something you didnt want only to return it in a week because you hate it. The only other option is to order several shoes online in various sizes, then take them all back to the store except the one you want. Kinda a process.

Overall experience was fine. The older gentleman at the gun counter offered poor advice on home defense shotgun. He was certain a double barrel shotgun was the best option for my wife when home alone. He also offered some stellar input like "if you need more than 2 rounds, youre in trouble"..... Jackass.

Wouldnt take a direct exchange (different size) without a credit card even with a receipt for the item that was being returned 1/2 hour after purchase. This nessisitated into two trips to exchange a $9.00 item. Rediculous

Great service we needed a boat tow toy in oct but they were out of season so the manger went in back and pulled all 5 types they had out for us to choose great store super service

Awesome store. Took a ride over to get a nice knife that was on special, was delighted when they said I could get it in black also. Knew exactly what I was looking for.

Its a nice place to get shoes or toys. It has a bit of everything. Not crazy about the set up or selection of clothing but other than that the prices are fair.
