Im changing my review to terrible. At first they did their job and were cool until a week or 2 after i made the purchase.... had my Cherokee srt8 checked out at the dealer and it had a ton of issues. I had to get another water pump installed because speed auto put on the wrong one, but that wasnt the real issue because the vehicle was used and i got a warranty....my problem is with "Bret" , the new finance manager. I got rid of the Cherokee due to too many problems and issues and time waiting around with the warranty company, so i went back in to get my refund on gap and warranty coverage.... Bret informed me they didnt have any of my paperwork on hand due to converting over to digital files within the last 6 months, even though i bought my vehicle 3 or 4 months before that. Even though i thought that was untrue and a lie i came back with all my paperwork a couple days later to complete the refund process... he was very dismissive and treated me like i was bugging him... i asked him to hold off on sending it in until my new purchase got finalized and he said ok. I contacted him a few days later to confirm and send in my info to warranty company and he told me that he ALREADY submitted it without word back from me on conformation!! I then asked to be ccd on the emails to warranty and gap company and he told me that he faxed the info in. I asked him to email me the fax conformation, which he said he would do...... a month later and Im still waiting on my refund, havent gotten the fax conformation,or havent got my calls to get thru to him or messages addressed to him answered back. Im very displeased with his service and professionalism. My next step is to try and talk to the owner, possibly bbb, and leave reviews like this wherever i can. This isnt how a customer should be treated

I initially gave these guys 5 stars. I have had to change it to 1 star. Wont give me the option for 0 stars. The car I purchase had a check engine light within 2 weeks of owning it. Yes the warranty took care of it. But before I reached the end of the first month of owning the car I got a low oil warning. I took it back to them and they said this car burns a lot of oil and put a quart in and sent me on my way. Not even a week went by and the low oil warning came back on. I took it to the mechanic they recommended and they said the seals were bad and it would take over 60 hours of shop time to fix. So I will be without a car for over a week? He was concerned that warranted company may not honor the repair and wanted me to season the time owned to make sure it gets covered. He wanted to do an oil change to see exactly how fast it was burning oil. Cost me over $100 for this "test". And then we could re evaluate the urgency of the repair. The warning light came back on within a week. I was told to keep adding oil for a while longer to give it more time still. $10 a quart. Have added 2 now. I have called Speed Auto to talk about all of the issues. The check engine light they handled because it was in the first 2 weeks. I have called them twice to talk about the engine oil issue. Have not called me back. I think they know more about this than they will admit...thus the avoidance. I think at the very least they should have called me back and offered to pay for the oil change and the oils Im needing to use weekly. Typical used car sales people.

Jesse and Bret were very friendly, easy to do business with and not pushy. The transaction was smooth and I would deal with them again. This is a revision to my first 5 star post. I had the VW CC 10 days when I was stranded at Costco. I got AAA to give me a jump so that I could make it home. Turns out the battery died. Okay, the battery was 3 years old, but Bret told us the car had just been fully serviced. If that was true, the negative terminal would not have been caked with corrosion! Turns out the 15 day "Implied Warranty" covers their lies, but not a car that was not serviced. Also, if you buy a car there and he tells you he has a Car Fax, make sure you get it up front or be prepared to wait. So, our fault for assuming Speed Auto was more upscale than your typical "used car lot". Just because a gift from the dollar store may be wrapped in beautiful paper, that doesnt make what is inside equivalent to a gift from Neiman Marcus. In short, dont be fooled by the exterior of the dealership; inside, it is still a used car lot. Buyer Beware! Now I will search for a good German auto mechanic to do a real service on the car and see what other surprises I may have.

I bought a car from this company 5 months ago. I went to do routine tire change at the certified local dodge dealer. I was approached by the service and manager. They explained to me that my car was a safety hazard and should not be driven. When I asked why the response was "that the two front struts were installed backwards . This caused the strut bar to be pushed against the lower control arms on both sides of the car , creating an area on both arms that have a large amount of metal missing weakening these parts to the point of being dangerous. " This car dealership not only endangered my life but the lives of my family that ride in the car. When I contacted them they said " this is not their problem and they would not take care of repairs. We are under different management." So basically this company sold me a dangerous car with safety issues. Do not by from speedy auto sales. They will scam you with offering you a free extra key fob to your car for a good review on here and send you a empty envelope with no fob and blame it on the postal service. Take your money elsewhere.

The used Mercedes I purchased from Speed Auto Sales & Leasing in Phoenix, Arizona had four very new Pirelli tires on it when I put down a $500 deposit. When I picked it up a few days later, paying all cash, the tires had been replaced with four mismatched crappy tires. I didnt notice until one of them had a flat and I realized that I did not have Pirelli tires or even a matched set. Bait and switch. The owner had me sign something the night I picked the car up that it was being sold "with the equipment on it." Since I never thought that a reputable company would switch off valuable equipment after I had purchased the car, I didnt think to check the tires again. I had agreed to his high price BECAUSE of the tires since I knew how much a set of performance tires would be. I want my Pirellis!!! Buyers beware! If this guy would do this to me, he would do it to anyone. I will never do business with this company again and am warning people to be careful when dealing with such a shady business.
