One of the worst experiences Ive had at TJ maxx. I have a 4 year old and its hard to try on clothes with him. I brought my mom to help me. Im a stay at home mom. My husband wanted me to go out shopping and enjoy it. I had a full cart of clothes to try on. Immediately I felt like I was being interrogated as to why I had so many clothes. They asked not only once but 3 times. One lady said there was no limit how many clothes I could bring in and did count them. Second lady came and said whats going on here. I wouldnt allow this to happen. Why does she have so many clothes. She was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable. The clothes were being counted so I dont know why they kept changing the rules. And they wouldnt allow my mom or son to come in the dressing room with me. Ive shopped with my mom and son like this before and 4 years of doing this they never had a problem with them being in dressing room while I try clothes on. Its easier for all of us so my mom can see what I try on and my son can be in the dressing room instead of running around all of the place. I dont appreciate feeling or basically being accused that I would steal. My shopping experience was ruined. What a way to ruin something sweet that my husband was trying to do for me. There were 3 ladies who were really rude and also scolded my mom and talked down to her.

This place can be like a treasure trove of goodies for the home. Whether you need pots and pans, or bed sheets, theyve got deals there you cant miss usually. Some stuff is still a little on the spendy side (im looking at you artwork aisles and furniture) but cooking utensils, bedding, and decor items are all priced at great levels. And its not all stuff that someone would have liked 5 or 10 years ago. I typically price compare while Im in store with Amazon, and Ive gotten some really sweet deals on kitchen stuff that way.

I love TJ Maxx and usually stop in if there is one in a city where I am traveling. This is a nice large store and although I didnt find anything that I couldnt live without, they did have a good selection and a large Home Goods section as well. The employees seemed especially friendly and I was greeted multiple times and asked if I needed any assistance.

Decent selection of one off items that you cant find elsewhere. If you see something make sure you get it, as it may not be there the next time you go. This is a dual clothing store and home good store which is nice. I found some clearance undershirts by CK that were $40 new at Dillards or Macys.

One of my favorite store to shop for home goods and kitchen ware stuff. Clean and smell nice. Friendly staff and lots items to choose from. I can easily spend hour in the store.
