This is a good pawn shop, Ive been in there twice, first time I went in I went to the gun counter and has helped promptly by a staff member, showed me a few different .38 special revolvers they had and ended up getting a Smith and Wesson Chiefs Special, I had cash and they ware more than happy to come down on price a little. The next time I came in to sell one of my guns that I rarely shot, Id asked around too a few other gun stores and pawn shops best offer I got was $200 for my H&K USP (it was a police trade in with a lot of holster wear so it wasnt worth a ton to begin with) but I went into Advantage Pawn asked for $250 just to see if they would go higher than the 4 other places Id been too and they didnt even hesitate, gave me $250 cash and I was out the door in maybe 20 min. A straight forward place I would consider doing business with again.

I HAD CALLED THE OWNER ON MONDAY (OCT.22) TO SELL SOME WALKING LIBERTY HALF DOLLARS. HE QUOTED ME A PRICE OF $9.00 EACH. I CHECKED THE PRICE OF SILVER BEFORE I WENT THERE AND IT $35.45 PER OUNCE. IT IS SOME WHAT DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GO THERE SINCE I AM CONFINED TO MOTORIZED SCOOTER, WITH LIMITED OPPORTUNITES TO GET TRANSPORTATION. WHEN I GOT THERE, HIS PRICE HAD CHANGED TO $6.00 EACH. I WENT AHEAD AND SOLD THEM SINCE THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I HAD BEEN LIED TO. I MADE IT VERY CLEAR THAT HE SHOULD KEEP HIS WORD, CAUSE I CERTAINLY DO. MY POINT IN WRITTING THIS REVIEW IS SO """EVERYONE""""""KNOWS THAT THEY CAN EXPECT THE SAME TREATMENT. SO, BE FORE WARNED 1 ! !

Normally when you walk into a pawnshop it is dark, gloomy and not very inviting. Not this one, they have tons of items available for purchase and more! I was asked multiple times by numerous employees if I was in need of service and the staff really treats you like a friend. They seem to have the largest selection of new/used firearms including a lot of custom and hard-to-find pistols. They also have an entire wall of DVDs for only $5 each, and get this if you buy 5 dvds, you get 3 more FREE! I have yet to walk into another pawnshop quite like this one, they really are Arizonas PAWNSTARS!

Dont EVER. do a loan on gold or anything of value here....i brought in a piece of gold to get a loan on and the scratched the middle of my piece and applied acid to it. They gave it back to me damaged very shady place....they dont even tell u that your piece will be damaged when they test it...stay away...already got attorneys involved.

I bought some speakers the guy was boasting they were new. The sounded like garbage and then he would not give me my money back even though he said there was a 7 day warrenty. All they have is over priced junk. Ill bet you they are up for sale again.

They have a LOT of things but unfortunately most of it is overpriced much like any pawnshop. But the person behind the gun counter was full of information and did not seem to mind all of the questions i was asking.

Lots of guns and other items. Large selection of gold and silver coins. Prices are decent. Friendly staff. Charge a 2% fee if you use a Credit Card.
