I was driving through the area and not aware that a new location had opened up near the old Madison Square mall. I had high expectations because the one in Madison along Old Madison Pike is great - lots of variety. The newer one, however, did not meet my expectations. I was looking for some wall decor and did not have many options to dig through. There is a good selection of clothes for men, women and children it seemed. Just disappointed when you walk into a store and cant seem to find what youre looking for. Check out the one in Madison instead!

my family found our couch here for $100 (50 for the couch, 50 for delivery) and we love it! they also sell new furniture in the front. i always come here and its my favorite thrift store. ive found some really cool vintage pieces here, but of course that just depends on what people have donated. proceeds also go to the local homeless shelter! always clean and the people who work here are always nice and helpful. the prices are good too and theres always a sale on something.

VERY organized. Very clean. There is a fitting room, which many thrift stores dont have. I was looking for a pair of black denim high waist mom jeans, and I found a pair after trying two other stores in Huntsville. Im not saying its the best around, because I have seen other thrift stores elsewhere with better variety, but Downtow Rescue is the best of those Ive visited in Huntsville.

Very nice people work here. Also love the idea that proceeds go towards helping the homeless. They always have a bible text in the entrance or something really nice to offer customers. Love this place. Also have great quality clothes. Clothes usually are $1.99, $3.99 or $5.99. Affordable!

New items all the time. I love it here. Also you get a punch card for a discount later but the discount is not why I like the card. It actually tells you how many meals your purchase just provided.

A bare bones thrift store with pretty worn down items. Clothes were stained and some were missing buttons. The furniture was also pretty run down. Average prices for a thrift store.

In town visiting, needed a few things. Perfect place to pick up odds and ends to include some workout clothes and bedding for a discounted price.

Very clean store, good selection of items. Even some name brand, brand new furniture. Electronics section is lacking, not their fault.

Over priced. For two dollars more you could get same item from Wal-Mart brand new. Definitely not impressed. Not a bargain at all.

Great deals and very well maintained. The workers are very nice which doesnt happen often at these volunteer run thrift stores.

I love this store. Great place to find good if clothing. They sell just about everything. Books are super cheap.
