I cannot express how horribly dissatisfied I am w/my recent purchase from this store. I requested a congratulatory bouquet to give my 8 year old daughter @ her award ceremony. I specifically asked for a BOUQUET [noun Simple Definition: a group of flowers that are picked & often tied together] not a floral arrangement. I also requested that it be colorful (purple in particular as it is her favorite color). What I was presented w/when I arrived to pick it up was unacceptable. Not 1 twig of purple, & I hardly call pink & white colorful. Not to mention that it was in a huge ugly pink vase. Really? How is an 8 year old going to hold that while accepting her award? As I was already running late, I did not have time to dispute the contents. The staff offered to wrap it as a bouquet & assured me that it would only take a few seconds. They took the arrangement in the back room & proceeded to bad mouth ME to one another for not specifying an "arm bouquet". They spent more time running their mouths than correcting the mistake. The flower arrangement was returned to me wrapped in TISSUE PAPER. Do you know what happens to tissue paper when it comes in contact with wet stems? If the staff had any questions about what I was asking for, they should have asked for clarification when I ordered - not berate me for not knowing in advance that they do not know the standard definition of bouquet. I was still charged $50.... what I received would not have been a $50 floral arrangement even w/the vase - removing the vase & still overcharging me the original over-inflated total was unacceptable. I missed seeing my daughter accept her award by 12 seconds. I would have been on time if my order had been filled correctly. I even would have been on time if the employees had not decided that venting to each other took precedence over a customers time. By the time I gave my daughter her flowers, the tissue paper had dissolved into a disgusting green mess. I could have purchased a bouquet of better quality @ the local supermarket for a more reasonable fee & with better customer service.

THEY FAILED TO DELIVER FLOWERS...TWICE! I ordered flowers for my nieces graduation and they were NOT DELIVERED on the scheduled day or the day after. Two days went by and THEY DID NOT CALL ME to let me know they had trouble delivering. (My family was home all day to prepare for the party, but they said they had tried. I verified they had the correct address, their cell number, and mine.) When the recipient contacted them they claimed to know nothing about the order, then they scheduled for delivery first thing the next morning (2 days late) and THEY DIDNT SHOW UP!! That afternoon I called the florist to inquire about it and she was immediately defensive and RUDE. She said it was NOT THEIR POLICY TO CALL PEOPLE WHEN THEY COULDNT DELIVER THE FLOWERS. I was told I had 2 choices: they could deliver them that afternoon or I could get a refund. I asked that the flowers be delivered that afternoon. A few minutes later the same woman called back and said she was canceling my order. She seemed angry that I suspected they had forgotten about the arrangement, so she refused to deliver flowers to my niece. I called a few days later and spoke with the owner, who admitted he had FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE DELIVERY. Even then NO ONE WANTED TO APOLOGIZE! I got a half-hearted apology only after I pointed out that I had spoken with three different people, including the owner, and not one of them had said they were sorry about the incident. I have been using this florist for years but I wont be ordering from them again.

I ordered flowers for my wife on our daughters birthday, on the spur of the moment. I needed them delivered the same day I ordered them and I worried about that. I placed the order at 10:30 and the same day delivery was listed as an option. I left instructions that the order needed to be delivered before 3 pm while she was at work. I called at 2 to check on the order, and it was not done, had not been worked on, and would not be delivered by 3 pm. I actually dont think that they had even looked at my order. I was told that they were "covered up with funeral business". I guess my little $30 order didnt warrant taking attention away from their big funeral orders. I would have at least expected a courtesy call, or an apology. This is the second time I have tried to use Mary Burke Florists. The first time they delivered only half of my order. There will not be a third! I would use Mary Burke Florist at your own risk.

For MotherS Day 2012 I ordered from Mary Burke Florist a Rosy Glow Bouquet of yellow roses. I gave Mary Burke an incorrect delivery address. The flowers were delivered to her correctly and my Mother said that they were among the most beautiful and largest rose buds that she has ever seen and she has received many yellow roses through her life, in fact I would say that she has become an authority on judging the quality of delivered yellow roses. Mary Burke Florist made my Mother very pleased and also me. The only negative thing I could say about Mary Burke Florist is that on their website, I can not find an e mail address so that I can compliment them on the attentive care that they took in selecting my Mothers roses and the very attentive care in a successful delivery. Thank you Mary Burke Florist!

Our business uses Mary Burke Florist for all of its Flowers needs, whether for special Holidays, Birthdays or Funerals. They always deliver fresh cuts that last longer than most arrangements weve seen. I have also used them personally and referred other people from out of town to use their service. The staff is wonderful. One staff member went out of his way to text me a picture of what he had delivered to a friend in the hospital! That is going above and beyond great service!

I ordered flowers that were on posted on their website, beautiful $60 arrangement. First, the flowers were delivered very LATE. Second, the arrangement my friend received didnt look anything like what I had ordered they looked pitiful! Third, Mary Burke Florist will never get my business AGAIN.

I go for all my floral needs.......They are expensive but I am satisfied.
