This is a store that has gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service. A few weeks ago, I took my iPhone 6 for a screen repair. Because of the way the screen got damaged, they had to replace the Touch ID which they informed me would stop Touch ID functionality because of the way the iPhone is built. A few days later, a new iPhone update got released and it actually bricked my phone because Apple doesnt allow for you to replace the Touch ID at all. When I took it back to GG, they were really nice and tried to unblock the iPhone with me, even though it was no longer their responsibility. They even went as far as to open the phone back again and change several of the inner cables to see if the phone came back to life. Eventually, we gave up and I took my nonfunctioning phone back home. This past Wednesday, I took it to them to see if I could sell it for parts when one of the technicians recognized me and told me that Apple had actually reversed what had blocked my iPhone originally and then offered to unblock it there at the store. I was extremely surprised and happy to have my iPhone 6 back and will always be grateful to them for all the help they offered with the issue. I couldnt recommend them more. They offer great services and have exceptional customer service!

I took my IPhone there to have power button replaced with same day service. I had been told they were fabulous by a coworker, so I had no doubt about leaving it in there care. However, my power button was fixed, but my microphone was destroyed so nobody could hear me clearly when talking on phone. I took it back two times for repair and never was corrected. I took to Apple to have checked found out they broke my screen in two places and had some parts missing internally. So my advice... be skeptical of repairs and take the time to bring your phone to Apple for repair! They made me feel like I was dreaming this up and even told me it was the other people phone not mine! Until I called them later and they then heard for them selves how aweful it was. They did refund me what I paid them, but I still had to get a new phone $400 later!!

Our family has taken three cell phones to the Onalaska Gaming Generations repair bunch over the past year - one Samsung, one Motorola, one iPhone. The Samsung was simply a bent button, which they fixed while I waited, and didnt even charge me. The Motorola worked as good as new when repaired, which was done quickly and for a reasonable fee. The iPhone had been bent in the middle, and exposed to water, sand, and extreme sunlight/heat, but Josh took it on anyway, took the bend out, and got a flicker of response at one point, so he kept working at it. Despite all his effort, the phone couldnt be resurrected. After all that, he refused to charge me. Jeff, Josh, and the rest of the crew, youre the best!

Needed some repair work done on Juniors Nintendo 3DS and discovered GGs mail order repair service. I cant believe how smoothly it went. At first they seemed kind of uncommunicative as I never got any confirmation of receipt or update on repair or shipping, but right around the time I was wondering if they got it okay, it showed up in my mailbox good as new. They mustve fixed it and had it back in the mail on the same day they received it. I wouldnt *mind* an update email, but I cant complain about the speed of service. Hopefully I wont need their repair service again, but I wont hesitate to call on them again if the need arises.

DO NOT TRUST THEM FOR REPAIRS! I took my gaming system in to them twice for a fairly straightforward issue. The first time they returned it and said there was nothing wrong with it. Got it home and it still didnt work. I took it again (Just weeks after the first attempt) and this time they told me the motherboard was shot and then proceeded to try selling me a new game system. I then took it to a friend who works with computers. What did I have to lose? Turns out the problem was merely a broken wire connector. 30 minutes later I was back home and my kids were playing again.

These guys (and gals) are great! Customer service was excellent both on the phone and in the store. I brought in my iPhone 5s with a cracked screen and my Samsung Galaxy 3 tablet that would not turn ON. The screen was an obvious fix and they were able to fix the tablet for $15 after running a diagnostic test. I appreciate their honesty, frankly they couldve told me anything and I wouldnt have known the difference. The guys in the back are so nice and helpful. You wont regret going there for repairs to your phone, tablet or gaming system OR to purchase a game etc.

I went to the La Crosse store to buy a new game and they were out of stock. They called the OnAlaska store to see if they could hold a copy for me which they said they would. The next day I biked 5 miles to OnAlaska just to be told about a 24 hour holding policy and that they had sold my game. The guy who sold it was unapologetic. Unfortunately I have a gift card there and thus can only afford to buy my next game from them. Do not waste over 3 hours of your life like I did and just go to the Target or Best Buy that are basically next door.

Took my iPhone in to get my screen fixed. When I got it back everything (except the volume buttons) worked great. I noticed the volume button issue later,but still within the warranty period. Took it in on Monday 3-6 at 10:45ish am for same day repairs. Today Thursday 3-9. It still wasnt done. I wish I could give less than one star

Fantastic customer service. Had an issue with design differences between wii u parts. Nintendo changed a few things along the way. These guys knew exactly what the issue was and resolved it quickly be sending me the necessary wires to fix it. I cannot say enough how important communication is and these guys get it. Kudos!

Had some issues with the battery on my wifes iPhone, which was no longer under warranty, so Apple/Mac Guys were no longer of any help. These guys were very helpful, very timely, and very affordable. They fixed the phone, and its been working great since. Highly recommend.

I went there to sell a game which was perfectly fine but I went to look at another gaming generations and the price for that game to see if they had cut off some of the money, I had been cut short $5.00, but if I went to the other one I wouldve gotten more money.

Took my HP computer in after having issues with windows 10. The help I received was outstanding. My computer was restored and for a reasonable cost. I definatly will refer gaming generations and if I have any other issues gaming gererations will be my first stop.
