Some helpful folks to guide your purchase however my service experience has been less than stellar. My New Specialized Mountain Bike ordered was "assembled" in a manner not complete. I had to almost immediately before riding tighten all the things left loose after purchase and then had to return the bike almost immediately after that as so many things were left untightened, lubricated, or adjusted. I didnt know to look for tightening cranks as a general area needing consumer attention right out of the door . It was so poorly assembled that the crank arm completely fell off during the second ride. I returned the bike and they did the 30 day break in adjustment and what I believed was to fix the crank arm. Then on 1st ride on our Mountain Bike Trip to Colorado (1 week later) the pedal and crank arm fully fell apart again. Apparently it was never assembled correctly according to (2) different bike shops in Boulder that attempted to fix my problem since we were on family mountain bike trip and were scrambling for a crank assembly to fix the problem since they said pedal was never greased, or tightened correctly during assembly and had loosened and wore the threads out during that initial ride. Very disappointed I had to rent a bike and all the hassle of spending time getting fixed rather than riding. I have had a Specialized StumpJumper for 14 years with no issues and performed regular maintenance, Im not sure if Specialized product is inferior or as (2) different bike stores pointed out in Colorado, was poor set up. Leaving bike in Colorado for Specialized Rep to come inspect.

My fiancé and I went in there looking for a road bike. The salesman was very helpful and we said we were going to look around before we decided. We went to one other bike shop in Kingwood and it was awful, Im not even sure the guy knew what a bike was. So we went back and got a bike for my fiancé and a bike for me. They told us that they had a sale coming up and that if we came back with the receipt then they would give us the difference in the sales price. They were beyond helpful with everything. They installed the water bottle holders for us, as well as gave us 20% off accessories the day we bought the bikes. Came back a week later to ride with a group and the store manager, who was riding with us, noticed that my seat was too low and offered to fix it for me. He also helped adjust my gears and my brakes. All for free. I would recommend this shop to anyone whether they are beginners or advanced. The staff knows what they are doing and go above and beyond.

Ben is the guy who helped to get warranty parts from SRAM and install on my bike. He pushed SRAM for expedite shipping, called the warehouse to get parts, and put on my bike once he had parts. Great job! I used to visit Bike Barn at Cypress and like their service. Comparing to Cypress store, Id suggest to make improvement on information flow. The email he communicated with me seems to be a public mail box for all store employees. I sent my original invoice of my bike to that mail box as request for warranty process. That information sank to the bottom until I called Ben several days later. Then I was told that the warranty was processed however no update was given until I called again and found the process didnt move as itd be, which wasted another week. I left my bike to the shop on 6/10 and picked up on 6/27. The store employees are very friendly. I hope my 2 cents can help them to get improved.

Came in to get my hydraulic brakes bleeded and replace 2 broken spokes on my rim. The bicycle tech (using that title very loosely here) instead of bleeding my brakes, he used a flathead screwdriver to pry my brake caliper apart. I noticed this when I got home because he did not remove the pads when he pried the pistons apart. I could see the shape of the screw driver imprinted on the pads, they were damaged and marred. When I picked the bike up they tried to sell me a new rim saying that because 2 spokes broke that meant my wheel was shot, are you sure its just the rim? Maybe I need a whole new bike instead? They also tried to sell me the $80 dollar tune up service, they basically wipe your bike down with a dirty rag and tighten 3 or 4 bolts. This is the kind of shop that will take you for a ride if you bring your bike in not knowing what needs to be done. Wont ever be coming back here again.

They hovered over me when I entered the store. I took a wheel set to the repair department to have them trued and stress relieved. Got an estimate $16.00 to have the rear wheel bearing adjusted and $32.00 TO HAVE THE WHEELS TRUED Ans stressed relieved. When they called to say my wheels were ready I asked if they were stressed related No he didnt do that When I did pick up the wheels the hub they worked on was too tight when I checked out the price on the estimate didnt match what they charged Cant trust them

Disappointed. It is the closest store to me. But one of the staff while polite and friendly, tried to make recommendations that shows either he does not know what he is saying or he thinks I know nothing. Up selling their parts and bike and keep telling me that I have a low end bike with low end parts only communicates that I should not take my inexpensive bike there. I do not feel that I can trust their advise or reasons for the need to upgrade my sons bike.

This place works well with the customers, had a specialized rock hopper comp, and to be honest this bike was poorly designed, after having problems over a few months and even getting a whole brand new bike I was still having problems so finally was able to return it for a trek, receiving full credit for my old specialized, loving my new trek which I traded up to. Shout out to Ben he the man to see.

These guys, and gal, have always been extremely helpful, honest, and treated me very well. Though I did not buy my bike there, they have always helped me with my own road bike for parts, repairs, and general questions. I will continue to bring my business there over and over. They do not seem to carry a lot of stock (which isnt their fault, ah hem corporate) but anything I need is ordered quickly.

I went in about a month ago and bought a road bike. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. They even loaded it Im my car. I went back after a week and had some adjustments made free of charge no questions asked. A big thank you to John, Steve, and Jeff.

I was looking for a bike for my daughter. I called the store and was surprised at the politeness and help I received. Later that day I went to the store and was met with the same enthusiasm to help me find the right bike. Very pleased with the overall experience
