When I was being rung up the cashier was talking to her Co worker the whole time (this part I didnt mind too much as I remember being in high school and having a job) what I did mind was the fact that she rang up the same item twice and when I told her I had to interrupt her conversation to which she seemed very annoyed and snapped at me that I was wrong. When I got my receipt I looked at it and sure enough she did charge me twice. I showed her the receipt and she didnt believe me and tried to say I bought two of the same items. I had to empty all of my bags to prove her wrong to which she finally refunded me. It was rude and couldve been avoided

While I was leavning Jo-Anns I saw a young woman who was obviously homeless charging her phone in Jo-Anns cart area, now I know that she was using Jo-Anns electricity and was "taking up space," but the way that the manager handled the situation was disgusting. Instead of respectfully telling the young lady that she needed to leave and couldnt charge her phone at the store. The manager, yelled at the poor girl and shouted that she needed to "GET OUT!" Image is important and treating people well is the key to success in all aspects of life. It does not mean that you had to let the girl charge her phone but you could have spoken to her kindly.

Choice of fabric was very poor. Also the cutting counter had 2 people in front of us waiting for their fabric to get cut with one person cutting. Will a random person walks up with out having a number and asked if they had a certain product in a certain color and the worker walked off with the random person who just "cut the line" to help her. Plus they had put a sign in the front window saying no public restrooms. This tells me that the bathrooms are for employees only and customers cannot use the bathroom. They need to be made to take that sign down. I will NEVER shop at this location again!!

Joanns stores all offer similar products, but the experience varies greatly dependent upon the staff attitudes. Im making a complex costume with small amounts of many different fabrics. This seemed to annoy the woman helping me cut my fabric. Also, when I walked away, she and another employee spoke rudely about me while I was an aisle over choosing thread. Do your job with a smile. It keeps customers coming back. This is not the Joanns Ill be returning to for future project needs.

I know theft and shrink are issues, but wow! Not at all customer friendly. Big signs about how youre being watched, actual monitors you can see yourself on right by the beads. Everything is locked up (yes, beads are locked up!), so youve got to find a salesperson if you want something, which is a whole nother deal. Also no restroom for customers... So the question is: Why ever shop here when both Michaels and Craft Warehouse are within a mile, and both offer a far superior experience?

All the employees here chew gum and it makes it hard for me to shop. I was being checked out by a particularly talkative checker and every time shed say something it was just loud open mouth chewing and squishing wet words with gum cracking. Id rather not have to listen to someones rude chewing habits while shopping. Employees arent allowed to have food or drinks on the sales floor and that also goes for gum!

Good place for tools and notions, but the staff doesnt appear to know much about sewing at all. The most bothersome thing for me, other than the annoying & distracting constant sniffing (dont the ladies know what tissues are for?) is the lack of better quality fabrics. Cleaning doesnt appear to be much of a priority here either. Hillsboro does a much better job, even though its 10 miles further away.

I love this Joannes. Always very helpful and courteous. And really someone has trouble shopping because someone else is chewing gum? You might just want to stay in your house if thats all it takes for you to be annoyed or have trouble functioning in society. People will complain about anything. Ive had great experiences at this location. I even made a friend in line here. How cool!!!

Im already not a huge fan of Jo-Anns as they tend to have pretty mediocre service. This store hasnt been too bad in the past, but they make up for it with a poor selection of many things. I have left this store countless times empty handed, and will not likely be returning.

Its a good store. A bi expensive sometimes and when they send you the coupons on regular items, more than half of the store is on sale (not that big of a deal most of the times). If you go there often, you can snag some hot deals, though.

Too few workers, takes too long to get fabric cut. Three times Ive left because I couldnt wait for stuff to get cut. Today I couldnt even find an employee to ask for help with a non cutting issue.

Jo-Anns is great for the random craft supplies you need. This location is heavy on the fabric and has sewing classes. The staff is friendly and helpful.
