Well, Im going to disagree with the rave reviews here. I would call this place just another screen repair shop, and you could likely get your screen repaired much cheaper elsewhere. Took my Samsung Note5 in because I dropped it in water and the SIM card reader stopped working. Everything else on the phone = fully functioning. My phone wasnt glitchy at all and was described as "high functioning" by the tech at the store. You can note that it WAS dropped in water and corrosion may take a while. I want to be honest/give all the facts, so you can decide for yourselves about this company. The phone was in use for 3 weeks post-water prior to the SIM stopping working. This was my experience: 1. called Eisenhower location, told they require/store policy an alcohol wash for any phone dropped in water before they will do any other repairs, wash = $99, and then quoted at $110 for wash + repair. 2. dropped phone off at Carpenter location because its closer to me. Told them I had talked to Eisenhower location, that they told me about store policy alcohol wash & itd be about $110. Carpenter said (these are paraphrased obviously) okay, so the repair is $110 and then if we need alcohol wash we will give discount of $49 due to getting the repair done here. Wait, what? I told them Eisenhower quoted $110 complete, and wash was mandatory. They said they only require it if the phone is poorly functioning. I told them the other place told me the total price was $110. They acted as if I wasnt speaking English and just kept saying "yeah, the repair will be $110". 3. I decide not to give my phone to Carpenter because of shady math. Drop phone at Eisenhower, tell them about the price & wash requirement policy, and their stance then became "well we arent going to give you a different price than the other store quoted". Am I in an alternate reality here? Eisenhower gave me that price!! Eisenhower told me the wash was store policy! Now Eisenhower was telling me that the wash wasnt required and of course that the price was magically still $110 + $50 if they ended up needing to do the wash. I should have ran right then, but really wanted phone fixed so left it. 4. hear nothing for >week, call, they call their Lansing tech (where my phone was sent)/call me back & say they couldnt fix it. I ask when I can pick it up, but then guy says he will have to call Lansing and ask when they will send it back. ?? It honestly seemed like he thought I was going to just leave it my phone. He didnt call back, I called the next day & was given pick up date. 5. Picked up what is now a completely broken phone. Screen magically stopped working during their possession. Did they take my functioning screen and give me a broken one to make some $$ since they dont charge when they cant fix something? Thats entirely possible IMO. Did THEY break the screen and now are just like well your phone was a mess even though it was, in their own words and my personal experience of 3 weeks post-trauma, "highly functioning"? Again, a reasonable assumption to me. Is it just the nature of water damage/corrosion that it could have spread and gotten worse? Yeah, thats possible too, but the thing is Carpenter had it open & said nothing about extensive corrosion; another tech (not Genius) had it open (who couldnt fix the SIM because they didnt do micro-saudering) and also never mentioned any corrosion. So it just seems kind of amazing to me that all of a sudden my broken phone is due to corrosion that was somehow never seen by a multitude of professionals previously. I had a gut feeling I shouldnt leave my phone with them/that they could only handle screen repair when I dropped it off, and ended up right. I gave them a phone that I could have sold on eBay for $200 and got back something I cant sell for $10 towards a new one. Id never recommend for anything beyond standard screen repair and even then Id say you can get a much better price elsewhere.

very friendly, I have an I phone 5s and its been having battery issues since I bought it from another vender used over time the battery started to expand and caused the LCD screen to come off. Ive been ghetto rigging my phone to work for 3 or 4 weeks now and finally broke down to try and get a new phone or at least repair what I have. A friend told me that there are places that repair screens and they are reasonable. So I googled it and this place popped up. Im grateful I did. they were able to replace my entire LCD display and battery for about 116.00 including tax. Which is a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a new phone. When I was in the store they were friendly and since they werent swamped the whole process took only 2 hours I dropped off the phone gave them my info and paid when I picked up. They did let me know that they guarantee their parts and labor which is comforting unless you drop it in the lake or something but thats pretty much anything you buy these days. Also they had a list of pricing located on their sight this was very helpful in deciding if I should do it or not and I noticed when I walked in the store they had refurbished phones for sale as well. Im thinking in a few months I may upgrade to the six they were pretty reasonable. Over all as an experience I couldnt have asked for more fast friendly and knowledgable.

When I entered place was very clean. The sales rep greeted me nicely and offered me all the deals they had. Also the store manger came out as well and he ensured me that they will have the phone repaired nicely. Prices were very fair and the very homely place to go very fast with the express repair. I would only come back to this location because of great customer service and a great repair on my samsung galaxy S6. If you ever need a phone repaired go here you wont be disappointed!

I shattered my phone screen and closest repair location was Carpenter Road Genius....an hour drive from where I am. Originally, I was told two hours to repair but when I went back was told glass had to be ordered. It took a week but during this time I was in contact with Dillon and Michael and they were understanding of my frustration and were very nice to deal with. They mailed my phone to me overnight! Customer service very good! Thank you guys!

I needed help with replacing the battery in my iphone; a small screw was stripped and I was willing to pay for its removal. The staff was very courteous, quicky removed the screw for me, and would not accept a tip or charge for this service. Plus, they gave me an old screw that I could use as a replacement part, no charge. This is the kind of excellent service that builds repeat business and customer loyalty. I will definitely shop here!

Aron at the carpenter road location made it quick and easy to drop off my phone to have the screen replaced. I was in between meetings at a conference and literally only had 15 minutes to drop my phone off and get back when Aron took the information over the phone so i barely had to get out of the car to give him my phone. After meetings finished he had the phone ready and i was on my way home. Thanks again Aron!
