So fun! Nothing to complain about. I mean walking and shopping is pretty stright forward. The only downside that I can see is that, since it is an outlet mall, most stores dont have the nicest things that they offer but rather whatever they are trying to get rid on on clearance which can be nice but also annoying. Its a big mall so if you cant walk far or for very long, I suggest knowing what stores you want to go to and where they are before you get there and have a plan to hit up those stores in the order that would create the least amount of walking. On the other hand, if you love walking for excercise, this would be a great place to get some fit bit steps in when the weather is crummy outside. Great variety of stores and decent variety of food. Never had an employee at any of the stores or the mall itself be anything less than helpful and kind. Also great for playing pokémon if that is important to you.

This is the Most Gigantic Mall I have Ever been in Shopping . It has a " Sea Life World " Under the Sea Fishes in lots of Separate Tanks , it Was Such an Amazing Place and Interesting to Hear Other People going through their Own Tour with Sounds of ( ooohs and aaahs ) Other than Your Own . There is An Awesome Restaurant Across from The Sea Life Called " Rainforest Cafe " it is So Impressive with its Actual Feel as if Your Literally in The Jungles Forest . It has Mechanical Jungle Animals Mimicking Actual Live Animals from Gorillas , Elephants , oh , and Lets Not Forget The "King" of the Jungle With His Liones along with the Cubs . The Food is Great , I Recommend The Coconut Caribbean Shrimp . Great Dish . Go Experience a Wonderful Time Out of this World . God Bless .

So many stores, restaurants, a carousel, Legoland Discovery Center, Sea Life Michigan Aquarium, AMC Imax and movie theater... theres really so much to do just waking around. I recommend planning your trip...you can save so much if you download the app and get the most out of your trip with coupons. Some great Groupons are out there sometimes and on Wednesdays kids eat for $2.99 at Rainforest Cafe. If you go to AMC often join the Stubbs club (free app) or Premier (15 bucks i think... worth it with how much free stuff Ive earned so far and i can use it through Fandango). The negatives are that it gets quite busy on the weekends, parking is a nightmare and lines are horrendous.

The rest room is often nasty. The food court is the same way nasty. The surrounding restaurant are naty counter top and staff behavior. The crowds !!!! The mountaineer (Police) WOW no bedside manner what so ever. Thier attitude is always on a defence. To trigger you to become irrated appose to serving you or tending to your concerns.. This mall is an outlet people from all parts of the world travels to Great Lakes Crossing.. Just fall out with Police or received a ticket.. I never been in a situation at this mall... But have over seen and was within ear shot say things wasnt handled the right way... Just saying think twice before traveling that far out...

Great mall to shop , eat and walk around the only complaint I have is about the Tmobile store. I been a customer for a few years now and they usually have a great customer service but when I walked inside that location I was not even greeted mind you the store was empty, walked to the front to pay my bill and do some other changes to my account and the girl(Mali) was very rude with a nasty attitude and talking to me in a way that I couldnt even hear her. Had to ask her twice what was she saying. Its sad that Tmobile doesnt realize that they are loosing customers because of their sales representatives having no idea the meaning of customer service.

They say the Great American Mall is dead, that is not the case at this place. We originally went to go see the Legoland Discovery Center, which we thoroughly enjoyed, but ended up wandering around a fair portion of the mall just to check it out. We went to several stores but really enjoyed the Shinola store. The staff was remarkable, they seemed to be genuinely excited to be selling that product. Go check them out! The food court is huge, and cover all the usual bases. The Playland in the middle of food court is also pretty cool for the other kids.

The mall itself is good enough (although they should have more areas to cut through so you dont have to walk all the way around again if you missed something). The problem, unfortunately, are the PEOPLE. They run right into you because they have no concept of courtesy, so the mall should hang signs explaining to people which side to walk on. So many of these dumb@***** walk side by side in a large group, then everyone else has to scramble to go around them. ITS CALLED BEING A DECENT HUMAN BEING, PEOPLE!!!

This mall is always extremely crowded. The merchandise is usually not top of the line and almost cross over into knock-off territory. Not a wide selection of quality dining. They got rid of one of the best Stir Crazy, and Miyako has the most overpriced sushi that tastes horribly and they rush you out to the point where you cant have a relaxing meal. I come here for massages but they move Super Life once every few months it seems and the new location has VERY loud employees next door.

It has some great stores, good restaurants. I will never go back on a weekend day ever again. There were just too many people. When it is not peak hours for the mall it can be a cool place to just visit. Good coffee shops and lots of chairs to chill. I do have one complaint, the restrooms were a disaster!! I thought I was in the mens bathroom after a insane clown posse concert just let out. They were nasty. Didnt even want to touch the walls doors or sinks!!

After 6 months of observation and time in and out of the mall. My wife and I have noticed the following patterns with the mall kiosk s notably in the Bass Pro shop wing from Art Van furniture to the Tim Horton s area. The salesmen and even more importantly (sales women) have a tendency to be a very rude, and aggressive. I also wonder if grabbing the customer by the arm to get there attention! Is a good sales tactic....

Update 10/31/2016. I am taking one star off because lately the customer service in a lot of the stores is not as good as it used to be. Great Lakes Crossing Outlet is a pretty big mall with every brand of clothes and accessories you can think. The hallways are pretty big there is a lot of space to walk around. They have some restaurant inside and they just open a new aquarium and a legoland park inside the mall.

the customer service is slow and not friendly to Canadians. The so called passport is basically useless. because you have to buy over a great amount of money to get a small discount which can not be used with other store discount. feel cheated. The New Balance store is not good. the majority of the shoes are overpriced. The lids store is bad, it even does not have many Detroit hats like Pistons and Tigers. Why?
