I have heard lots of bad things about this store from robberries to in store theft to murder to kidnapping and on and on. But from my personal experience from shopping here at this store id have to complain about the cashiers. Thats the first thing because they are the front end. They are who customers see first. And its sad that with all of those registers that are available their are always only a handful of cashiers working the front end. The lines are extremely long and there is not a self checkout lane nowhere in sight unlike all other walmart stores. Another thing id complain about is the expressions on the faces of the employees. They look as if they are angry, frustrated, disgusted, depressed etc. Not exactly the warm and welcoming environment that id prefer. Next the bakery. I hate how the cake decorators wait til the last minute to do cake orders even though they say give them 24 hr notice. If they need at least 24 hour notice then the cakes should be done the day before. Its really no excuse as to why order arent done if you had 24 hr notice ahead of time. I remember not too long ago placing an order 3 days ahead came to pick up the cake the day of and wouldnt you know it the lady tells me its not ready for pickup as if i was suppose to leave the store and come back later to get my cake. Inconvenience at its finest. We ended up just leaving that stupid cake right there and went somewhere else and bought a cake and had them write on it. And it was alot cheaper than that 22 dollar cake at this walmart. Yes the bakery department had to throw that whole cake in the trash. Thats what they get for not having my order ready when i gave them 3 day notice. The deli is not a problem at all. And the produce well it would be great if the customers didnt run threw the produce grape section and stick their dirty fingers in the grapes picking grapes out of the bags to eat without paying for it. Other than that i guess it would be ok. I shopped here once or twice and i will not shop here ever agin. From now on i will be shopping at a walmart store that is more up to par if you know what i mean.

I called to ask about the price of preventative meds. The phone rang at least 15xs before someone finally answered. (Mind you, this was around 10AM when most shoppers are at work! What the hell did they have to do? I mean, really..) Thank goodness the medicine I needed wasnt time-sensitive - oh wait, it was (since its more effective the sooner you take it). An eternity later someone answered, not even apologizing for the inexcusably long wait. I cut to the chase, "Transfer me to the pharmacy please." At least the transfer itself was painless - I was half-expecting the uncaring girl to reply "Why?" to my request. Once connected, I asked how much it was; a woman hurriedly told me $30 and rushed me off the phone. Compared to $44 at Winn Dixie and $57 at Walgreens, I was willing to overlook the callousness (and my better judgment) and went to the Walmart I had just called. 10 mins later I was at the pharmacy & tried to buy the pills. The same rude woman from the phone told me, without a pause, that they were out of stock. Somehow I wasnt surprised that someone who worked here would offer a price for an item without bothering to check if it was available first. I called 3 other locations, and the final one DID have one left. For the second time that day I ventured to a Walmart and ignored my first mind. I got there and they tried to charge me nearly $60!! I told them the other Walmarts price for the same thing, highly doubting such a high variance in price within the same chain. The cranky old woman behind the counter told me that was the old price for the old pack - they only carried the new pack now. All I wanted to do was get a good price on some medicine. It shouldnt be too much to ask of such a large corporation to employ knowledgeable, courteous staff and stock the medicine it advertises in its pharmacies. In the end I did what I shouldve done all along - went to Target and bought it for $40.63.

I have traveled across the country and shopped at many Wal-Mart stores and this is by far the worse Wal-Mart store that I have ever shopped at. I am a disabled Vet and they have two riding carts that are fairly new but only one of them work, the other one has been sitting in a corner for about two months now not working and they have not bother to fix it. That means they have one riding cart for the whole store. Come on, let’s get real, the smallest Mom and Pop stores have more riding carts than that. The other thing beside the fact that half of the employees act like they don’t want to work there and are rude to customers is there usually is only one or two lines opened at the checkout and long lines of people standing in line waiting. A lot of times I see people putting things down and walking out because of this. So, let’s get real and call a spade a spade. This Wal-Mart is located primarily in a black community and mostly black shop there but when I go to the Wal-Mart on Chantilly Pkwy or Atlanta Hwy I don’t see any of these problems of bad service existing. To the higher management of Wal-Mart Corp., we are tired of the bad service, so get it together or close this store. Our money spends just as good as your customers at all the other stores.

I like the new paint job on the outside of the building. But its gonna take a lot more than just a couple of coats of paint to bring this place back to life. The lines are super long. There is no self check out at all period. As a matter of fact I think this is the only store in town that does not have a self check out all other stores do. The cashiers are not very friendly. And sometimes the food in the deli sits under the heater a little too long. I noticed a girl name Kim in the bakery walk away and left a cake sitting on the counter uncovered and the cake attracted flies. When i saw that i then never wanted to pay for any other handmade decorated cake from Wal-Mart anywhere ever again. This store also needs better shopping carts. When youre pushing a shopping cart it has this loud banging noise. Its like the shopping cart has knees that knock together or something. The parking lot is never monitored by police or security. I dont feel safe in their parking lot sitting in my car or loading my groceries.by the way:THEY DONT HAVE CART PUSHERS which means customers have to hunt for their own shopping carts out in the parking lot I dont like this store.

These people dont believe in the words: SELF CHECK OUT at all period. The lines at the registers are terribly long especially over in the afternoon and evening. Apparently Wal-Mart doesnt like to give hours to their employees(mainly cashiers) because it makes no sense as to why its only like 4 registers open when theres a whole front end thats made for cashiers. Some of the Employees that work there have the worst attitude you ever want to see. Thats why i never bother to ask anyone to help me find something. Their shelves are barely ever stocked unless its a holiday. And there should be police outside of the store and not just inside protecting in-store only but outside protecting customers as well. I actually like shopping at Wal-Mart but this particular store is definitely not one of my favorites.
