I recently had an excellent experience at Gilroys Hardware Traverse City with a young man named Evan Cochrun. Evan was very friendly and helpful as well, as knowledgeable, patient and respectful. This visit brought to mind my daughters first job at the Gilroys Hardware in Flushing. They truly have more packed into this small hardware store than you would imagine. You can find cheaper prices elsewhere but if you just need that one thing quick this is the place to go. Helpful staff.

I live a quarter mile from this place, but I drive right past it all the time on my way to Home Depot or Lowes. Why? It closes at 6pm. If youre gonna do retail, you need to try a lot harder than that.
