This is one of the slowest Pharmacys I have been to in a while. The response you will get is they are very busy and have a lot of prescriptions at this location but thats a lousy excuse. Before moving here Kroger close to Emory hospital on Monroe in Atlanta was quick and polite. My script was called in over an hour and a half ago but they never started it. It was explained to me called in prescriptions automatically go to the next day in their computer. You have to call in and ask them to fill it. So I am taking any new prescriptions to Walmart 1 block away where they will also text you when its ready. Other than that this location is great for everything else. The Deli and bakery are fantastic.

I brought one prescription there to fill and they said one hour. I went to Wal-Mart and dropped of three, l had my three prescriptions in 40 minutes or less. I went back to Publix to pick up the antibiotic, was told it was not ready yet and when l asked how much longer it would be l was told another hour? I said ANOTHER HOUR???? Meanwhile l am burning up with fever and sick to my stomach, so really...l have to go all the way home and come back???!!!??? I do not care of Public gives it for free, next time l will bring it to the super friendly staff at Wal-Mart Pharmacy and pay for it. I will gladly pay not to ever be inconvenienced by Public Pharmacy again!

Im getting a bit annoyed with this pharmacy. I do love Publix. The staff seems like they are all nice people. I am usually very understanding and patient, but this really is about the 5th or 6th time this has happened. They said the script(s) will be ready in 30 minutes to an hour and I have shopped for an hour and a half and it is not ready, then even made multiple trips the next day and the the day after and still had to wait while they got it ready. I think something needs to change and be addressed.
