Yo llevo 5 años haciendo negocio con ellos y algo que los caracteriza es la amabilidad que poseen todos los empleados, la señora "Dolores Diaz" ese día yo estaba presente en la tienda por siertas diligencias y la señora mencionada con una actitud prepotente, grosera y con insultos, ella estaba pidiendo una cantidad grande en dinero para préstamo y llevaba oro falso y por eso los empleados le dijeron que no lo tomarían y ella empezó a decirle muchas cosas, ahí es un buen lugar para empeñar y comprar cosas pero personas como estas no deberían ni de llegar y ni de opinar aquí.

I think over all the demographic of pawns to this location have been people who dont keep their word. My issue with all pawn shops in general INCLUDING this one is why ask what Im looking to borrow if youre going to cut short and low every time? I say 100 get told 40 or 50 is max for a 4k smart tv pawn and then guy tries to use fear of loss (sales men know this technique) to get me to accept. Nevermind most shops will charge you 20 to 30 dollars interest and storage fees up front. While some charge interest through time. Its lenders discretion in California. That being said A Pawn Shop in Los Angeles takes the TV 2 times in the last 6 months for 100 each time and each time I paid 112 to get it out less than a week after I pawned it. If there is a lesson to learn here. Its that you get treated better when you travel from your home area looking for a fair deal. Greed rules.

Today was a very stressful day, when I walked in to this pawn shop I wasnt sure what to expect.. well let me tell you not only was I greeted right away but he saw I was in distressed about selling my jewelry, he suggest a loan instead of selling it out right... They are very nice people even with disgruntled customer.. I would have handle it much differently but they handle it very professionally. Thank you again Maywood pawn shop.

Came in with a 14k white gold bracelet... the guy dips it in 18k acid... ie tries to ruin it... then tells me its not gold... not sure they know what theyre doing there since I sold it for $500 to their competitors around the corner. Btw Im a jeweler.. I KNOW it was gold. Save your time go to a shop with more time and experience under their belts!
