I went into get a replacement phone and received one....1.5 months later. The first time I went to have my phone looked at I waited for more than an hour in line as employees milled about seemingly aimlessly. When I was finally called up, they took my phone and told me to wait for another hour. I walked around the mall for an hour and came back to find that they couldnt fix it...Fine 2 hours of my life burned but fine. I was urged to upgrade in 10 days and I went home to think about it. A week or two later I returned again and was told that they would put in an order for my replacement phone and that it would be shipped to me...14 days later I returned to ask where my phone was...The sales rep confirmed that the order was still just sitting on the technicians desk in the back room. Wonderful. At this point I call corporate and make a ruckus and the manager of the store calls me to assure me that the phone has been ordered, "I will call you when it comes in." 12 days later I call to ask where the phone is and they tell me it has been in for 10 days and assure me that they called me about it. No. Finally my replacement phone is received but after 30 mins fiddling with it, they tell me they cant transfer my contacts...Not from my old phone to a new variety of phone...from the same make and model to the same make and model. I am beyond disgust.

This is the third time I used this location and had terrible experience with their service. I am the kind of person that never goes and leave a bad online reviews. But this is the 3rd time I had bad experience with them and I do not want any one waste their time in this location. I went there to transfer my daughters phone number to her new phone. It took almost 2 hours for the new employee to accomplish this task. I was the only customer in the store at that time. 3 senior Employees and manager were standing there chatting with each other and having fun. The newest employee was assigned to help me. I believe he was not even trained properly. He had no idea what to do. Every single stage of the process, he was going and asking to the store manager. When he was back, he was locked out, and he asked my phone and account info again and again. He said he inserted wrong card in the phone; so it did not work. I put my initials over 15 times to agree with something! The new guy was very kind but not knowledgeable or skillful. The senior employees had great knowledge but very bad attitude, they were mean and unprofessional. Standing there 2 hours, I was exhausted and disappointed and I was late to pick my son from school.

The Madison Sprint Store staff is mostly friendly and moderately competent. My review is of Sprint, its corporate policies, and its stupid hones. My Galaxy S2 contact list never ever ever ever worked, despite my phone being replaced, going to the factory several times, and so on. Finally an employee suggested I plunk down $50 and get a new battery. I did. That didnt help. I did without my contact list -- I feel ai have been robbed by Spring. An expensive phone. An expensive monthly fee. And basically I can only use it to receive calls since my contact list doesnt work. Just now called. Waited 20 MINUTES for someone to pick up. A phone company that doesnt answer its phone. Strike anyone else as ironic? How about criminal? Then the guy who answered did not listen to one single thing I said. Asked me questions I had already answered several times. I am on my way to the store now. It is far from my home so its a chunk out of my work day that will probably result in more frustration.

Sprint got my business, but no thanks to anybody at this store. The salesmen are pushy bastards that refuse to pay attention to the questions Im asking about a phone in favor of shoving any phone and a calling plan down my throat. I found two of their salesmen worth hating in less than 15 minutes and walked out I had already walked into this store frustrated because Sprints website wont give you a straight up retail price for their phones. It took me a few minutes with the first guy to just back off and let me look at price tags on said phones. The second guy was the one that especially didnt listen when I had a question about what a button did on a phone. They both nearly convinced me to look at another service provider or bury the hatchet with Verizon. I do recommend people to go talk to anybody at Best Buy on the east side instead. If you find Craig, hes a nice guy that will pay attention to what youre asking and reply with patience, cognizance, and humanity.

My does this place need a shake up... 1. Staff is usually rude. Theyll take care of your issues but they dont do it in a professional or appealing manner. 2. SET AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE GOING IN. If you dont, youll get skipped for those that did so your trip will turn into a 3 hour nightmare. 3. Staff is uneducated. They dont even know the ins and outs of their own company. We came in with a bad phone due to manufacturer defects, they told us wed have to drive to a 3RD PARTY REPAIR STORE on University Ave where the phone would be repaired or replaced. We told them it was past the 1 year warranty and they said they would fix it anyways because it was a manufacturer defect. THEY DIDNT DO ANY OF THAT. I drove way out of my way for nothing. 4. They put us on the wrong plan twice. Then, we had to fight with them over a period of 2 months to get bill credits for THEIR OWN MISTAKES!!! Save yourself the trouble and order online if you really want Sprint.

Sprint service is atrocious. My wife made the mistake of leasing an iphone. It needed service one month out of the 1 year warranty and she had elected to insure it, mistake 2, with Insurion, their third party insurance. . The Lein store in Madison, acorporate store, sent us to apple. After 4 hours of waiting between 3 stops we were left paying for a 60 dollar repair. We bought a different phone and paid a 36 dollar upgrade fee to sprint. We now want to return the phone that now works and end the lease and Sprint wants 220 dollars as well. Avoid Sprint insurance. Dont accept corporate store advice at face value. Its likely inaccurate. Dont believe upgrade fees and return options. Dont buy insurion. Dont use sprint or ever lease from them. Buy unlocked phones and vote with your feet. Customer since 2004 with 6 lines. Sprint 800 couldnt help and manager wont pick up phone at Lief location.

I was a U.S. Cellular Customer for years and recently switched to Sprint because of the lower rates. Boy, do I regret it now. My phone was stolen with my coat on a Saturday night while I was working, and on the subsequent Monday I came into Sprint expecting the same type of service that U.S. Cellular provided when my phone with damaged, however, I was deeply disappointed. They would not issue me a loaner phone after I made a claim to Asurion on my missing phone. They said that Asurion would overnight the new phone, however I needed a phone on Monday. If I had stayed with US Cellular I would have not missed important phone calls and would have been able to make needed calls that day. If you are looking at Sprint for a contract, keep in mind their prices are lower for a reason-They dont provide service and when the unexpected occurs, service is the difference between being with or without.
