I had about $200.00 worth of mdse when I get to the front of store I see three checkouts open, but two was closing so that left the express and self checkouts. I have decided I have worked retail for 35 years and I have to personally wait on customers as a manager and someone is going to ring my stuff up I am not. I went there to shop and to spend my money they are not paying me to check myself out. They are paying that one cashier 10 dollars a hour if that to watch 8 checkouts. So that way they can cut the hours for that store. so I walk up front toward the device desk ran into the door guard and ask her if I could speak to a supervisor. she said what for I told her and she yelled at someone in the back and ask if they had a register that I refused to check myself out that I had approximately 200 dollars worth mdse. she came and slung some buggies around and said I not opening for him but finally did and took the next person standing and give me a look of death. sorry girl . I have kids older than you maybe dogs and cats so wipe the nasty look off your face its your job do it or find another job where you might not have to deal with the public. Now I no why I do not like wal mart. for one they dont have managers at night it runs on its own. the front end supervisors are the biggest thing in charge. And it is the first of the month.

Depending on who is working, you may get good customer service, or you will get bounced around from one employee to the next. Your best chance of finding help if you call, always ask for the manager, but if you are looking for info about a certain product. Then they will transfer you to the area of that store, which is nice. They have greeters at the door who can sometimes answer any questions you have or not. Again depends who is working. They have a bank, clinic, Vision center, and Subway inside as well. All four places are nice. Also tons of evrything else. Wal-Mart sells everything. We shop there often. I hope this can help the next person to fully understand Wal-Mart and what the store can offer.

I went into this store with four of my friends to buy four 30-packs of beer. Once we got up to the register, we were told it is against the law to buy two 30-packs at once (I am from NC, so I do not know the beer laws in WV). When I turned to say why dont we all just buy one case, the cashier said she couldnt sell to us because we were all together. So one friend says to just go to self checkout, so we do. The cashier called the manager and he denied us of buying any beer at all. We are all over 21 and sober, so I dont understand why it was an issue. Is there a restriction on the quantity of beer bought at once in WV?

Well I like Walmart because its Walmart its got a lot of the things that I need or want prices are fair I like to do business locally and when I do business at Walmart Im doing business locally theyre all local people employed there its a good store they could stand some improvement in some areas, particularly and a few more people to answer questions for you and lead you in the right direction but its a good store for a variety of things and a lot of reasons.

I absolutely dread having to go here.... The staff stands around talking most of the time, no one ever asks if you need help, most of the time if you have this look on your face like you need help and they see it, they all disappear. Never enough registers open, cludder a lot of the times, especially in the fitting rooms. We literally call Walmart when we need help while we are in the store ask ask for assistance in the area we need someone. Now thats sad!

Was very disappointed when I went to purchase dvd-r and the cashier would not price match them with wal-marts online price!!! She told me I had to purchase it at regular price and then go to the service desk if I wanted to get it for the online price!!!

My wife and i travel a little bit further to go to this Walmart in particular. The main reason is the cleanliness versus the other Walmarts in the area. This store is huge and is always neat.

The only complaint is that most of the staff are not social, and they act as if customers are not worthy of assistance when a basic questions is asked of them.

The tire department was slow as hell they took 2 hours to change to tires on a friends cavalier and when I asked the guy how much longer he had an attitude

Bathrooms are filthy. Bathroom stall doors do not lock. The rest of the store could use a facelift in many ways as well. Good Food Selection however

Much quieter than other Walmart stores. The customer service is decent and the lines are never as bad as other Walmart stores I have shopped in.
