After walking in knowing the 2 pair of shoes I wanted to try on, I spent over 30 minutes waiting on the 2 employees deal with the two customers before me ...then at least one that walked in after me "needing shoes to walk around Italy" in. The staff did not acknowledge me at all in the first 30 minutes and helped some one who had just walked in!!!! Luckily there were 2 display models I was interested in that were my size. I then went to the counter knowing exactly what I wanted and in what size. I was ready to buy! Because of the delay in looked the item up on amazon while i stood at the counter and saw it was on amazon prime for the same price. Finally someone acknowledge me. I figured I would give the associates a bit more time, however they had no interest. All said and done 40 to 50 minutes from the time entering the store I completed my amazon purchase and moved on. Thanks for letting me try on $140.00 shoes that I paid amazon for since your associates cant multitask or treat someone like me with fairness. So disgusted Ill never go back or suggest any friend with special shoe needs to your store . BTW I mentioned 3 times to the person with me that they were the same price online. I know the associates heard me. So done with this place. Just because I have tattoos and dress funky doesnt mean I have less money to spend than some yuppie buying shoes for Italy. With my needs I spend over 1k a year on shoes. Great choice by the trashy looking associates

I have shopped at this store for the past two years. Each time I have worked with knowledgeable, highly trained professionals. This is a store with a lot for all ages. They take their time to make sure the shoes they sell are correctly fit....every pair, every time. This store was recommended by my doctor as the "only" store for me to shop in for this very reason. They stock Dansko, Taos, Uggs, New Balance and a variety of other well respected manufacturers. There is a large selection of styles and the option of purchasing anything else in a manufacturers collection. What also impressed me was their offer to locate a product available from a quality line not presently in their store. In addition they carry a sizable collection of fashionable socks made with high quality fibers. Merino wool, bamboo blends and others, for all shoe styles. Their boot and sandal collections are substantial. Men have a good selection of styles and equally high quality socks. I have never had anything but the best possible experience with The Walking Company.

I have no idea why there are such terrible reviews. Perhaps people need to be more mindful of the day/time they go...? I was helped promptly and with courtesy. I have an outdoor/walking-heavy job that requires tough shoes that are also comfortable and supportive. A young woman named Sarah came right out when I arrived, and after hearing what I was looking for, she measured my walking stride and weight distribution for the best fit. She was very knowledgeable about the benefits of different brands, shared some shoe care and daily usage tips, and made recommendations based on my preferences. She was very professional, while also being friendly and approachable. Will definitely be coming back when I need my next pair!

The worst customer service ever! I walked in and 2 of the three employees ran to the back room. The one that remained asked if she could help. I told her what I needed as I have specific foot needs. She looked bored but said she could help but needed me to stand on a mat. No problem. Then she pointed at one pair of shoes. I said is that all? She said oh no there were others but brought out the one pair she pointed at. I tried them on and could tell they would not work for my needs. I asked what else she had. She kind of shrugged so I said thanks and left I would never recommend this store.

This is by far the best shoe store I have ever shopped at. The salesman was the most knowledgeable salesman I have ever had. He explained the differences in the style of shoes, made sure the measurements fit correctly and corrected my problems with my arches with inserts. I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes. I have problems my both my knees and back and I have noticed a total improvement in both. If you have any type of foot problem, please give this place a try. They have all different styles and colors. If they dont have what you want they can order it for you.

I know their insoles are expensive but they saved my feet! I have been buying their arch support insoles for 5 years now, got a new pair every year when I needed new boots at work, Im on my feet for 12 hours a day and what a difference they made for me, in fact Ive been wearing my current insoles for a year and a half now, no holes but they are worn, no suprise with my work schedule.

Bought a pair of insoles for my boots to the tune of almost $80. Very comfortable at first. Now 6 months later their is a hole in one of them. For the price I paid, I expected at least a year out if them. I wont be back to replace them.
