I was just assaulted at the 56th store by another customer who blocked my exit from the store and put me in fear of imminent harm. A drunken-pedophile security guard had followed my lady out of the store and was trying to watch her piss in the car thinking shes shoplifting whens shes trying to find the restroom. We leave to go to an ATM and I come back to buy an old baby buggy and complain to management that native man in a reflective coat scared my lady in the parking lot; and the guard comes up while I am standing there with $300 in twenties buyng the buggy. I tell the clerk. I wanted to tell you alone that there is a man scaring my lady and I, but the man is standing here scaring me now... He snatches the buggy and threatens me, his boss , James joins the fray and just when I make to leave their madness, the customer before me steps in front of me blocking ny path toward the exit. I saw who are you, the clerk tells him to leave me be and I tell her to dail 911. My lady and hi almost had to smash our wY out of the parking LOT

Very unhappy with their donation services. After several phone calls finally got a call back a week later and set up pick up. Girl was very pleasant on the phone and we discussed what I had and what they would be able to pick up. Pick up day arrives and the drivers looked at what we had and said they could take nothing. We had several very nice pieces of furniture and granted some pretty well used. We had bags of clothes and boxes of household items and the drivers would not even look at them. Got out of their truck for about two minutes tops and left. Thankfully Goodwill was more then happy to receive the donations. Will not waste my time with St. Vincent again.

I really enjoyed to shop at this thrift store, but, unfortunately, noticed in the last few months prices are becoming higher and higher, even though people have donated all things for free...Some years ago, we could buy, for example, furniture for $10, 20, or maximum $50 a piece, now there are prices above $100...what is the reason? this store is meant to help families with low income...but now not anyone can afford to shop even in this store...

After the overwhelming task of having to sell most of my belongings, I still had more left. I called all the charity agencies around town and it was ONLY St. Vincent De Paul who would even take my stuff! (Some of the agencies told me they would have to look at what I had before they would even consider taking it). It was just as important to sell as much as I could, as it was to find a place for the usable things to have a new home.

last week 4-09-15, i called this store to donate some items ,i left my number for them to call me and no one has called me yet. Today, i called again, never get a live person on the phone. i left a message again. its odd that this store advertises for donations of any kind but yet they dont return phone calls. i am getting so frustrated... why does this store not return phone calls?

Just had a new mattress picked up from our home for donation. The work done by SVDPTS is amazing. Unfortunately, their pickup team tracked in dog pooh all over the carpet in our hallway, stairs and den. While the donation was worth it, the hours it will take to clean up the damage (and the smell) dropped my review.

terrlble employee...short changed me. was rude. talked very trashy.tried to ask about prices she said if we didnt like it put it down.i think with all my friends and family have donated over the years we would have been treated a bit more with respect.

My first visit to this thrift store....side note, its the hubby that likes going to these places..... Didnt find anything worth buying. But its always interesting looking at the items they have. Its like Time Capsule of sorts!! hahaha

Large nicer thrift store. They have lots of clothes, dishes and small appliances. They also have a vast outdoor area with quality furniture. I have found clothes nice enough for job interviews.

Great store. Ignore the stuff inside. Go out back to the stalls and get a worker to price something for you. Always get mind blowing prices as long as you dont mind cleaning it yourself.
