I have been searching for a shop that has good reviews & top notch artists for a couple months. So, I found HOT and I thought for sure this shop would be a good fit for my needs. I dropped in 08/04/16 to see the shop, look at a few portfolios & maybe look into a couple artists I was interested in. When I walked in, there was a shop artist looking at another artist working. I introduced myself and we started talking a bit. It turns out that after asking this artist several questions regarding tattoos, I realized right away that this guy is a "1 trick pony" and was completely incapable & uninterested in anything other than murder & death scenes. Be flexible & think outside the box. So, after talking with the receptionist (who seemed nice), I was able to schedule a consultation with Jeff, the following day @ 5:30. So, on my way to the consultation and on time to meet at 5:30, I ended up getting stuck in a 6 mile backup on 705 which was going to make me late. I called the shop @ 5 to let them know I might be a little late. The guy that answered the phone (an artist) was going to see if Jeff wanted to reschedule. I said I was on my way & would be there asap. Then the guy just hung up on me. I got through the accident & made it to the shop by 5:34pm. When I walked in, I encountered the same guy that answered my call earlier. This guy had absolutely no respect for customers & it was clear that he wanted nothing to do with me. So, this guy went over to Jeff and said the 5:30 consult was here and he said he was running over with his current client & that it would be 10-15 minutes. During my 28 minutes waiting, the same guy that treated me like **it was real interested in being polite & courdial to an attractive customer with a 6pm appointment with the same artist I was going to consult with. Real nice.. Gotta be skinny & have pair of ***s to get noticed there.. So, I wait patiently. 22 minutes later (mind you no one talked to me) Jeff & his clients are headed to the front desk to close stuff out/schedule/what not & Jeff didnt even bother to acknowledge me or even apologize for having to wait....HIS CUSTOMER APOLOGIZED! So, I waited another 6 minutes and then decided that due to narrow minded artists, bad customer service & an overwhelmingly loud environment, I just got up and walked out. They just lost a customer with a large budget for ink work. I understand things happen and occasionally we all get a little behind schedule. The right thing to do is acknowledge the customer, apologize for the delay & let the customer know your important to them. Dont ignore someone & treat them fairly, the way you would expect from another shop. *** If you like good customer service & artists that are "on time", I suggest going elsewhere. I would not recommend this shop to anyone

I went to the House of Tattoos when I was 16 to get my belly pierced but right as I walked through the door the service was horrible! Im sure if your all tattoed up and have a s*** ton of piercing their nicer to you but if you dont have any of that they are frickin pricks. The artists looked at me rudely and that stupid f****** receptionst lady was a complete b**** to me. They are over priced, horrible, and have crappy customer service. They dont need to be complete pricks to customers who want to GIVE THEM MONEY. The only nice and decent person in that hell hole would be Atom the piercer, he does great work and he has done my belly and nose but other than that the other workers suck. Or maybe its just the frickin recptionist who needs to start dieting before she gets a heart attack or she needs to work at mcdonalds which would suite her soo much more. If you need a piercing GO TO ATOM at the house of tattoos but if you need a tattoo go to ALL STAR TATTOO they are so much better and more reasonable prices. I got a small tattoo for 75 at all star where house of tattoos were gonna charge me 125-175 and all star has much better quality and better customer service. GO TO DREW at ALL STAR TATTOO FOR A TATTOO. SCREW HOUSE OF TATTOOS FOR GETTING TATTOOS THEY SUCK AND HAVE CRAPPY ATTIUTDUES.

Ive had 4 tattoos now, and 2 were at HoT. My first one was by Matt, and he did a great job. The next two tattoos were great, but done elsewhere. I had a really good idea, and would only to go someone amazing to do it, so I went to Katie, and she did a great job. While I as scheduling my appointment with her, Matt looked at the tattoo he did 2 years prior, and I am scheduled in for a FREE touch up. I had brought in my little brother and they gave him a free temporary tattoo and even played along let me take a picture like he was getting a real one. I think these bad reviews come from people expecting a salon receptionist at a tattoo shop. I was treated great and will NEVER go anywhere else. I just went in for ANOTHER new one. It got booked out a month to be done, which is understandable, because every time I go in there, everyone is pretty busy. It looks great, and Im about ready to plan out my next one to get done.

Friendly, helpful, clean, professional, efficient House of Tattoo was recommended to me by some friends, so I checked it out. As a first timer, I had expected to get a bit of attitude when I walked in with a bunch of questions, but the customer service was fantastic. The girl at the front desk was super nice and answered all my questions and helped me know what to expect. I scheduled an appointment, emailed in my artwork, and came back the next week to get my ink. My tattoo artist was Jeff, and he was nice and gave helpful advice on size, placement, ink colors, and after care. Im really happy with my two little tattoos, and he said that touch ups are free :-) Totally happy to recommend them!

I love this place and these people! Jesse Montgomery is my "tattooer"... although I would call him an artist. Hes done two components of the sleeve project that weve been talking about for a couple of months. The work is magnificent. Obviously, Jesse is going to be the solo arm artist for me. That being said, Ive seen the work of the other artists at the shop. Theyre all quite talented and any one of them would have been a great choice. They play music in the shop and if youre nice and you ask Katie nicely, she may change the soundtrack for you. The default 80s new wave stuff is very cool, but sometimes the vibe of some southern blues makes a 2 hour tattoo session just perfect.

There are a small handful of shops where I would even consider getting a tattoo done and House Of Tattoo is at the top of my list! Every tattoo that Ive had done here has turned out amazing! Having been tattood by several of the artist at House of Tattoo I can tell you with certainty that youll leave House of Tattoo with a quality tattoo and good feeling in your gut! I enjoy showing off my tattoo with great pride knowing that Ive got a rad tattoo that was done by professionals! I recommend people visit House of Tattoo on the regular if they want quality tattoos done right the 1st time! PS Piercings done by Atom equal piercings done right!
