This place has everything you need for outdoor adventures, but I mostly have to comment on the unbelievable prices and huge selection for shoes/boots! My boyfriends dad took us to this store last week as we had come out to visit him but neither of us had brought hiking shoes and he wanted to show us some nearby state parks. We both quickly found awesome hiking shoes for $30 (mine) and $20 (his), and they even had lots of options in his size 14! If we hadnt been on a mission I could have spent hours there and come away with a ton of gear for very little money.

Just like any other big 5 I have been to. Good sales good service limited selection small store. The stock they keep on hand is middle of the road items not gunna break the first use not going to last a lifetime either. This big 5 and all other big 5s could be better organized with better flow throught the sections kinda reminds me of a surplus store as far as floor plan. I go to big 5 when its convienent but its definetly not at the top of my list.

I wouldnt recommend shopping at Big 5 unless you know 100% you wont want to return your purchase. I purchased an air bed with an internal pump. I assumed the pump would be battery operated and when I opened it and saw it plugged in I decided it wouldnt work for my needs. I tried returning the air bed and was then told the return policy. They dont take opened air beds back. Mind you, it was open but not taken out of the box or used.

Chuong, you are awesome! All youve done is been nice to us and go out of your way to help us out. We go here for all our outdoor and sporting stuff, beats the Walmart over there any day. All the associates are nice and helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Have to love this store. Baseball, shoes, tennis, basketball, guns, camping stuff. Anything fun and youll find it here. Even ping pong and darts stuff is here.
