The best place for Italian desserts in Seattle. I havent had a single bad gelato flavor here. This place is fairly ethical - if youre into that - as they source most of their ingredients from Washington. They also bake their own Italian pastries (which are all delicioso) on-site. The location is staffed by the loveliest and sweetest women who will help you with your flavor combination dilemmas when getting two scoops. There is limited seating available on busy days, but they will pack pints for to-go orders. Waffle cones are only a $.50 upgrade, which seems like a no-brainer to me. Always get a waffle cone when offered. Its rare that they have mint chip, but if they ever do, get it. Otherwise, you really cant go wrong with anything else. Peach is one of my favorites, but its seasonal. Try some samples and find the ideal two-or-three scoop combo. Just remember what Larry David said: dont be a sample abuser.

Ill start with this. Going to Gelatiamo is an Indulgence. High Quality, Good Taste, with a bit of a price tag. Were talking a bit more expensive than Haagen Daaz. Dont let that turn you away. Their gelato has both an excellent taste (even the slightly strong flavors) as well as being very high quality. Thats why I call it an Indulgence. If youre on a Diet, it will berate you for your transgressions. Their pastries are nothing to scoff at either, so dont pass up trying some of them out. They range all the way from nice soft and flaky to a very smooth and tasty filling. Ive yet to be disappointed with their pastries, even if I havent tried them all (yet).

WOW - insane Gelatto! Talked to owners Maria and Skylar - super nice down to earth people. They explained how they create their huge flavors using fresh and local ingredients - not just a vanilla base that you add some flavoring to. Today they were making Blackberry Gelatto with organic berries from the Skagit valley but my favorite is still the Hazelnut which is, by the way, most awesome when paired with chocolate! Love the stainless steel bowls, a nice authentic touch of the real Italian Gelatto experience. Definitely a must do!

Some of the best Gelato Ive ever had, hands down. I ordered a "small" that came with two scoops. After tasting nearly all of their wide flavors and realizing I couldnt just take the lot, I chose Chocolate Coconut and Pumpkin. Both were full of flavor, creamy, and not just a ball of sugar. There was an excellent texture and complexity to it. On the way out I bough a box of assorted cookies for my family and they devoured them later that evening, so Im guessing that those are also excellent. Great shop and definitely a must-visit

Staff was unusually gracious and cordial for the city late at night. They handled sudden crowds with patience and proactivity, and smaller parties - and those like me wanting to try all the flavors - with similar kindness. The gelato is decent and served beautifully. The latte steamed to a perfection I rarely find, espresso nutty and good. Prices at market rate for Seattle: $4 for the gelato, $3 for an 8oz latte. Try the rice gelato flavor. Its sweet and refreshing.

Wonderful little store with a perfect selection of treats. Unlike many other sweets shops, they have a simple selection of what they do best, and the results are amazing. I strongly recommend a scoop of the rice gelato (yes, I said rice) paired with a scoop of traditional chocolate. The rice is especially fulfilling if you have just eaten at Wild Ginger opposite Gelatiamo on 3rd St. After eating here, I can honestly say "gelato, I love you!"

I have been coming here 7 years plus. They make great Gelato cakes for office birthday/work anniversary celebrations. I love the coconut and the chocolate stout. My favorite thing to get here for an afternoon pick me up is an affogato (espresso shot over a scoop of gelato). The staff provides excellent service. If you cant get to their downtown Seattle location you can always go to a Pagliacci Pizza and pick up a pint there.

I was making my way from Seatac to a friends house, couldnt find my bus after getting off light rail. I took a break from the search to grab a coffee. The two women working there were just the friendly, happy faces I needed after my long trip. I mentioned that I couldnt find my bus, and one of the took out her phone and found the stop for me. All this and a great cup of coffee. Ill be stopping there on my way back.

I was in Seattle during PAX Prime and I went here a few times to try out their coffee and gelato. The cafe latte I had was amazing, super good flavor. The blackberry and lemon gelato I had both times I went was also amazing and super delicious. The service was great too. They were more than happy to give out samples and help decide which coffee I wanted to buy.

Very nice place and good service! I went here to treat myself with dessert on my bday, and the lady in the store was happy enough to offer me to try out and taste all the gelato flavor because I couldnt make up my mind. Given I didnt tell her it was my bday. I ended up getting more than I should. The pastries are yummy and lots of yummy options for gelato.

I have been in Rome and Venice and NOTHING comes close to Gelatiamo. Smooth, delicious and flavors that pop in your mouth. Riso (rice), Stratchiatella (chocolate chip), and Passion Fruit are simply amazing. Every time I visit Seattle, Gelatiamo is on my list of "must visits."

I totally love this place. I couldnt choose between Gelatiamo and Bottega Italiana. Theyre that good! Ive tried gelato in a few places but these two have the best gelato in Seattle. Prices are fair. If youre looking for a place where you can sit, you should go to Gelatiamo.

Number one place to go in Seattle if you are an ice-cream fan. The best is probably 3 scoops, if you order more it may be too sweet for one coffee. There is no reason to write which one is better because all of the flavors are absolutely stunning.

If you are in Seattle you should give this place a try rain or shine. The staff there is always cheery and upbeat. The flavor selection is incredible (I recommend the rice flavor) the only downfall is the limited seating.

This place was recommended by 2 local food tour guides. Definitely worth visiting! Great friendly service, with great recommendations on what to try if you are here for the first time! So amazingly good!

Cute Cafe, Bakery, and gelato store. All I got was one of their puff pastry interpretations of a beignet, and it was quite delicious. No fuss, decent prices and relaxing atmosphere. Couldnt ask for more!

As good as the gelato I got in Tuscany. Intense, bright flavors, comfortable relaxing location. The baked goods look fabulous, but I cant get around to trying them. I cant resist the feature dessert.

Awesome little gelato shop. Decent collection of baked goods. The inside is very bright and sterile but there is ample seating and close to a lot of other restaurants/attractions/transit options.
