Id put this staff up against any group. For those whining, the pharmacists have no control over the automated call back system that tells you a prescription is ready. Corporate bean counters likely put the system in place to push staff to do more with less. Also, take into account the huge influx of people with all of the local construction taking place and completed over the last 5 years. Staff has been expanded but not sufficiently - again, bean counters make the call. These people work their butts off, standing for an entire shift and putting up with our attitudes and unrelated stresses. Its OK for us to react if our day sucks but not them? Give me (and them, especially them) a break. Try being understanding and less judgmental. Get to know theses guys as people and not as obstacle to be mowed down. Kindness begets kindness.

I was waiting in line yesterday to pick up a prescription, and the woman in front of me had a dog in her shopping cart. This was obviously a pet, not an ADA certified companion animal. Id just seen her walking the dog across the dirty parking lot. Not only is this unsanitary (people use carts for their food and medicine!) its inconsiderate of others in the store who might have health problems or allergies. I have nothing against dogs, but they dont belong in drug store shopping carts. Surely there is a health regulation against this? Instead of being asked to leave, the clerk behind the desk just smiled at her. Ive been a loyal Bartells customer for many years and Ive seen this happen at other stores, too. Im surprised such a well-run business would look the other way on something like that.

I called up the Bartell Drugs West Seattle Store Pharmacy for information on a prescription refill. Though the store did not carry my particular medication, the man who answered the phone was helpful, courteous and stayed on the phone with me to patiently answer my questions, even after he knew that I was not going to be buying anything from him. I count this as a sign of a trustworthy business and should I never need another medication, I plan on using this pharmacy.

Do not go here. This place consistently sucks. Id love to support local business and its a convenient location. Everything else has been a terrible experience. Twice Ive been told my Rx is ready only to learn after parking and waiting in their consistently long lines that they were not ready. Employees appear incompetent and without any authority. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Avoid this location! Every time I come here the staff is either rude or my Rx is not ready. Despite having ordered my refill online 2 days ago, Im told it will be a 45 min wait to pick it up. Whats the point of ordering online if I still have to wait. Unfortunately this is third time this has happened in 2 months.

Wait times are long BUT this is a busy pharmacy in a densely populated area. Using the app to preorder refills cuts down wait time. The staff are wonderful people but extremely busy, so not the type of place where you can chat with the pharmacist for 15 minutes about your cankers. Efficient and friendly service.

This bartel has the most uneducated pharmacy staff. They charge you without getting insurance information. They lie about when your meds will be ready. I went back 3 times to get medicine i needed and each time they said they needed 40 more min. I will tell everyone in my community to go else where.

Clean, Organized, and Great Sales! Informed helpful staff that are all well informed and kind. A lesson to the larger competitors. This is how you keep them coming back. This is how you maintain customer loyalty. Im willing to pay a little more for a better, more professional experience.

I would not recommend using this pharmacy. They never have prescriptions done by stated time, expect you to wait longer once you get there, and even gave me another persons prescription. I have had numerous bad experiences. Dont waste your time here!

Getting in and out of the parking lot can be congested depending on what time you go, but this particular Bartells has really friendly staff. The pharmacy is helpful and people are generally very pleasant. Great service.

Nicely kept store, I just wish they would extend their hours to be open a little bit later. Other than that, the customer service is friendly and helpful!
