I travel ofter with work, and have been board with the standard typical business type hotel. I am fairly new to this whole boutique hotel thing, but I am not going back. Ed The front desk guy was great. He let me view a few rooms prior to picking one and was very informative about all our options. The room was great, there wasnt a normal or standard thing in the room. The shower current was made of a welding curtain, the bathroom door didnt have a single hinge, and the they even had three of the same piece of art work hanging on the wall. I live in Las Vegas, and for someone who has seen his share of hotel rooms, I cant wait until I can stay at the ACE again. This is my first review being writen so I am not sure if this is helpful, but either way, i felt obligated to write something. Great job ACE!!!

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around... This hotel is beautifully modern and interesting. I loved the decor, and the atmosphere. The rooms have a spartan, minimalistic style but the bed is super comfy. Having the bathrooms be down the hall from your room is inconvenient, but I thought it was worth it to pay less for the hotel. The bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast had few choices, hard boiled eggs, toast, cheese, waffles, coffee and juice but it is all organic and local and the price is included with the room. The location could not be more perfect. Its a 10 minute walk to Pikes place and only 2-3 blocks from the water.

Im staying here right now... The front-desk girl who checked me in, Amy, was super friendly and helpful. The room is small but not cramped at all. The shared bathroom thing has not been a problem. I love the print on the wall above the bed. Breakfast was good, theres an ice machine, and no A/C which isnt bad considering the temps and humidity in Seattle - I just keep the fan running on low to circulate the air. Directly across the street is a small grocery and Belltown Pizza. Directly below is Cyclops bar and restaurant. In back is Bang Bang, which Im going to try for breakfast tomorrow... Walk to Seattle Center or Pikes Place Market.

As a lover of exposed bricks and things being a little bit different this placed was enjoyable on all levels. Staff were easy-going, friendly and helpful. Room was great and had stylish unique finishes. Nice large bathroom kept spotless. Mini-bar was a highlight as things were actually affordable and offers products like dry vanilla-bean soda, roasted pumpkins seed and corn chips & salsa. Breakfast was done well with an easy to use waffle machine and granola was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to anyone who is a little over your stock standard hotel.

Love it! From the beginning Ed (the manager) was very welcoming and a huge help in terms of us upgrading our room and showing us whats good in the city. Never stayed in the standard rooms, but the deluxe with their own bathrooms are always clean, trendy/retro stylings and just a pleasure to be in. Highly recommend... Oh, and within close walking distance to most of the attractions (downtown, pike place, space needle..) and bars/restaurants. Last but not least, the complimentary waffles are great!

lovely spot- extremely well located with a short walk to the market and all the hip spots in bell town. The staff were really friendly and made our stay very special for my partners 40th. The breakfast is a great perk - they serve it until 12 too, good for those of us who like a lie in when they vacation! Keep in mind, its an older building and as such air con is not standard and there is no elevator. That said, fans are provided and staff were eager to help.

I dont like Seattle. I couldnt wait to leave Seattle. I was only passing through Seattle. But, staying at the Ace, made we wish for another night in Seattle. Clean rooms, simple layouts, and the staff were quite professional in every aspect. Surprisingly quiet given its location in the center of everything. Its a quick walk to the pier or pike market. I dont want to go back to Seattle, but if I do, ill be staying at the Ace

This hotel was exactly what we needed! The location and pricing are a perfect match! It is quaint and modern in one take. Small rooms and shared bathrooms have a slight hostel feel but everything here has been clean and no inconveniences. There are a lot of stairs to walk here but if you are in moderate health they are no problem. The hotel is centrally located to most touristy spots and well within walking distance.

This place is 110% my aesthetic: minimalist hipster. Every element has been so obviously intentionally placed, it brings me great joy. I come here every so often for a weekend to do focused work on creative projects; I find the environment inspiring. Never had to wait in line for the shared toilets/showers. The ear plugs in the mini bar are free, comfortable, and very useful if you want to sleep on the weekend.

Simple, hipster vibe hotel. Pros - Plenty of outlets for charging devices - Multiple shelves for storage - In-room sink / mirror - Complimentary breakfast - Nice aesthetic - Central location - Clean shared bathrooms Cons - Paid street parking - Max parking time is 4 hours (8 am - 8 pm) - Lots of hidden charges - No AC - Lots of outside noise - No screens on windows

This is seriously the coolest place. Staff awesome, little touches that make you comfortable. Shared bathroom are private rooms with lovely aromatherapy products. Whilst a lack of air-conditioning in the room was an issue, a great fan was a help. To top it all of, a great breakfast is available downstairs making this stay a most memorable one.

It provides all the basics you need to have a pleasant experience. The interior itself is great, the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is a nice touch, not full of choices, but yummy all the same and a nice bonus. The room was clean and comfortable. For the price, its such a great way to experience Seattle for cheap.

I visited a friend who was staying at ace hotel. The hotel was awesome! Seriously from the front staircase entrance to the beautifully designed rooms to the fun themed hallways, there was so much to see and I felt so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and cant wait to stay here myself!

Best hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms were clean, furnished nicely, the beds were super comfortable and they even had umbrellas and robes for us. The shared bathroom was not a problem at all as they had 5 real close by to our room. Great breakfast too, local eggs, yogurt, cheese and waffles.
