Walked in and was ignored at first and then greeted unprofessionally. I wanted to get a loan for a high end Bluetooth speaker and I dont know if it was a lowball tactic or what but he started talking down to me onmy choice of speaker right away saying that it wasnt very good. then when I told him I got it a month ago he says thats weird because its old. then when I told him how much I paid for it he said you got a bad deal you shouldnt have went there... I then told him how much I was trying to get it which was a third of what I paid for it a month ago and he tried to make me feel like I was stupid for asking that amounts do you cut the amounts and a half that I asked for , I politely asked if there was anyway we could meet in the middle somewhere he replied nope and repeated his original number which was under half what he told me he had just sold the speaker forward to somebody else. This sign outside says family owned or family run something like that which typically you would think that means they will treat people well but that is not the case if the place is run by a family of douche bags. I went down to Cash America all the employees were super nice I got help quickly and you got within 10 dollars of what I was trying to get in the first place.

Ive never set foot in a pawn shop before, so when I saw something I had been looking for come through Craigslist, I was hesitant. I actually sent an email through Craigslist inquiring about the item, not really expecting a response. I got one shortly after they opened, and I ended up driving down later in the day (45 minute drive for me). As I said, Id never set foot in a pawn shop before but this one seemed nice (compared to what you see on TV or driving by them on the street). Clean and well-organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. I wont be going back regularly (because its far away) but I wouldnt hesitate to go here again should the need/opportunity arise.

Got a loan on my laptop, picked it up a week later. It wouldnt turn on without the power cord. Come to find out it was the battery and we all know you cant get a loan with a faulty battery in order to get a loan you have to bring it in "fully charged" I know for a fact they swapped my battery out for a battery That was in one of there laptops they where about to put out on the sales floor. Long story short they wouldnt admit it "surprise" I had to buy a new battery for my 6 month old computer and cost me just over $200 dollars. I will never use this pawn shop again! I hope this will save someone from getting absolutely screwed from these thieves.

My husband & I have only been to Puyallup Pawn Depot twice, but both times weve been totally low balled!! Weve taken in a couple very nice/expensive items that they could sell in a heartbeat, but they only offered us just a few bucks for them. As far as Im concerned this place is a total waste of time & a complete rip off, even for a pawn shop!!

While you cant please everyone all the time, this place will usually go out of their way to do their best to make a customer happy. Answering questions, making sure you know all you need when you are getting a loan, selling them an item, or even making a purchase from the sales floor.

Will return, would recommend. This store does a better job keeping their inventory up to date online than any other pawn shop I have seen. I went in knowing they had exactly what I was looking for, and I left feeling like I got a great deal for it. Thanks guys

I was paid very little for what I brought in. Was like whatever because I didnt think Id get much. Went to deposit it and my bank wouldnt except the money Cuz it was counterfit. Going to let it go because it was only $15 but Im warning you.

I got a 32 inch TV and Chromecast for a little more then a $100. Everyone is nice and not so pushy when it comes to buying product. I originally wanted a smart TV but they didnt have one I could afford. Thanks pawn depot :)

Great place! definitely changed my outlook on other pawn shops. Would come here first before Cash of America. Good customer service! Offered me more than what i was expecting and what other pawn shops tried offering me.

I usually hit the local pawn shops regularly looking for anything I cant live without. These guys are awesome. I have always felt that their prices are fair, and the staff has always been friendly and honest.

I was completely insulted by there offer. Expensive, quality jewelry is something that they know nothing about. If you need a loan and your collateral is jewelry, dont take it to these guys. Just saying....
