This place is unreal. Lazy and uncooperative. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. If you have an Interlock device or need one installed/transferred, I highly recommend going somewhere else. They dont care about your time. I had a few issues on my part getting a transfer going there and by my 3rd time there, youd think if they cared about their customer service, theyd be a little more cooperative/helpful. Im in customer service industry and Id never talk to someone the way he spoke to my husband on the phone. I understand their primary purpose isnt Smart Start, but dont do it, if its that big of a pain and youre going to be rude to people coming in for Smart Start service. If I were Smart Start I would be horrified to have these guys working for them. Not good representation at all. Ive been to both locations in Auburn and Puyallup and have had bad experiences at both. You wait out back in line with your car to get calibrations at the Auburn location. A couple of different occasions, I waited an hour, trying to be patient, as I understand this is a place of business. Then I finally go to the front only to the find a note on the front door saying they wont be in that day. Why not put a note on the back? Clearly they have no regard for Smart Start customers. Find another way to make extra money Platinum! You are no good with the public.

I recently got a ignition interlock installed through smartstart at the Tacoma location and they installed a faulty curly cord for it. So I called smart start back and they said take it to ANY smartstart location. Well platinum mobile electronics happens to be open on saturdays so I figured I would take it there beings its the closest one. They lied straight to my face and told me they didnt have any curly cords for it because smart start isnt sending any out. its because " they dont get paid" to install those, they get paid on just on the initial installation. Will never go there again, and Ill also tell everyone I come in contact with looking for any kind of mobile electronics the experience I had.

Dont waste your time going here. You will waste your time if you do go here. These guys are brain-dead. By the way theres only one guy working there at all times. Doesnt have a clue what hes talking about at all. Dont trust him with your car. Once you leave there after the installation process, dash lights dont work horn doesnt work Ill kinds of things mysteriously will not work because these guys have no clue how to work on cars. Just trust me, whatever you do dont go to this location or the Auburn store either.

If you use smart start dont come to this place they dont accept cash one and they dont go based on their hours posted. Went there yesterday to do a calibration and according to them they would be open till 6pm got there at 5:30 they were already closed and gone. Nice way to run a business. Now I have to pay to tow my car because you didnt get your hours right because youre not open Sundays and neither is any other smart start.

Every visit Ive had with Scott or Craig has been pleasant and very informative. They are very willing to help you meet your needs and can even offer better options. They can do everything from simple to extravagant. All their work I have seen has been top notch! I will definitely shop here again
