Recently transferred to this pharmacy due to my previous one closing. I decided to give them a chance even though they were completely out of my way. My first visit was please enough, a man named Scott was very helpful and polite. My following visit was subpar, the lady named Jean was rude when I dropped off a script for eye drops that apparently I could get over the counter. She made it clear that I should not be using my ins for such things. When I came to pick up my medications I was charged for one because I asked for them to use my personal ins so I didnt have to wait for a week for approval thru my companys ins. She told me no. That doing it that way created too much paperwork for them to deal with. So I paid out of pocket because I was out of the medication. To top it all, when I asked my my punch on my card towards a gift card she told me I should never had received on of those because I have government ins. This confused me because I had just paid cash for my medications. CASH, no Ins. When I pointed out the fact that I used no ins for these meds she kept repeating that I should not have been given anything because I have government ins. I again pointed out, I have private ins primary and government for a work injury and I just paid cash for my prescriptions. Not using either . She still insisted that I did not qualify for the promotion. At that point I left. I had my young daughter with me and didnt want to set a bad example by looking my patience with the woman. I work in health care, I often recommend pharmacies to many patients and their families. I have never experienced such terrible patient care ever before! I Will Never Recomend This Place To ANYONE EVER!!

This is one of the most pleasant grocery stores around. I like the variety of plants they offer starting in the spring. They have a good selection of most produce. My experience has been that the prepared salad products, lettuce, spinach, and spring greens are old. I have rarely found a package that was more that three or four days from the "sell by" date. Often when we did buy them there they would turn before the "sell by" date. The tomatoes are nearly always all too ripe and soft for my taste. They dont do a good job with Persimmons either. There is a very nice deli, cheese and sandwich counter, luncheon area, many prepared meats, chicken, and salads. There is an in-store bakery with anything you might want. There is a bulk food area, meat & seafood counter with fresh cut meats, as well as, prepared for cooking at home. The dairy department is vast. I rarely shop the shelves in this store so I cant comment on them. There has never been a long line to check out when I have been there. They offer a discount to seniors on Wednesdays. The only drawback here is that the prices are much higher than other grocery stores I the county.

The martin way store could take a few tips on service and selectionfrom the cooper point store..Im amazed they are still above water..I found out that my top foods card is a waste of time, it used to give you savings if things changed in price. I now find out its for nothing more than reporting items for which you werent happy with. I can do that in store with my receipt. Also you seldom can get the wine I buy everyday jodie needs to order things that sell all the time. I dont blame her as they have her doing everything from guest services cashering. She is a specialist and is great but spred too thin. I moved to the east sid of town and martin way is closer how ever I wont shop there as often as I used too.

The selection of produce, meats, deli, and food are excellent as well as high quality. There meat dept has the best quality and freshest meats in town. The butchers are very nice as well as knowledgeable. There cheese selection is large and very helpful knowledgeable employees that know about the cheese. I love this store and I must say the candy area is huge and so many yummy choices. Take a trip to this store you wont be sorry. Oh i almost forgot they have a great organic and vegan foods. Chinese deli with sushi bar yes they make fresh sushi to order and for the fridge section. The chinese deli offers meal deals the same as the restaurants for a better price.

Their prices have gone yuppie, and Ive been overcharged several times in the last year, mostly in the produce department. Keep an eye on what is rung up as you check out. The cashiers seem pushed and dont always differentiate between on the vine and off the vine etc. Also, when sale items arent noted in the computer, the customer loses. Used to love them, and considered them my home store. Ah Top Foods, where art thou?

This place has the friendliest employees and the best meat market in West Olympia. Prices are reasonable for being a local area grocery market. The bakery has unique bread options and theres always something new to try at the deli section. One fun perk of shopping here is the indoor cafe and fireplace seating section; perfect waiting area for easy going folks or a rest stop for the working hard folks.

It open 24 hours, has a great selection of local goods as well as standard items. Can find a lot of healthier/gluten free/ organic items as well. Starbucks has a shop attached to it as well. During the standard hours the deli/pre made salad selection have a great selection of pre made to go options. I always end up leaving with more than I came to get, but oh well.

Haggens carries a wide variety of foods. Produce is very fresh and often organic. They will cut and trim meats and fish at the meat counter. Large selection of cheeses. Theres a bank, a pharmacy, cash machine. Friendly employees. Lots of parking. Plus, if none of that speaks to you, it is flanked by a Starbucks at one entrance and a McDonalds at the othe

Ill be honest, Im really going to miss this grocery store. Before we moved back to Eastern Washington, this was my primary place to go for groceries. Its clean, quiet, and no one tries to run you over because they arent paying attention. I cant stand Safeway anymore, and I will sorely miss how relaxing grocery shopping was here at this Haggen.

I like the store because it very comfortable to shop in. Not too busy and crowded like Safeway Westside.Yes the are a bit overpriced but they do have nice specials and sales. The meat dept is top notch. Bakery is excellent (scones). The store has been thru an ownership change recently but operations have seemed to remain the same.

The best shopping experience for groceries in Olympia by far! Safeway is a complete joke, overpriced and the lines are horrible! Great wine selection, and Gwen in the cheese department is awesome!! Purchased a 95 dollar wheel of blue cheese and she hooked me up with a Solingen cheese knife!! I will continue to shop here!

The product selection is really good. Only a few items I havent found there and theyve gone out of they way to try to get them for me. The Pharmacy is very helpful and fast. Much better than Walgreens. Why does no grocery store in Olympia carry asparagus tips?
